Consequences of Storms On Business

Storms come with little warning and can hit hard and fast. The consequences of a storm can be costly and last for a very long time.

I live north of Boston on Plum Island, in Newburyport, MA. This past weekend we got hit with a storm. I had ocean water filling my driveway in parts and about 2 feet of snow in others. My daughter's swing-set was underwater. It was a total mess. The local high school parking lot completely flooded, destroying many cars. School was cancelled and we were literally trapped on the island with the National Guard and State Police securing the road.

When storms hit, it evokes questions around Disaster Recovery, emergency back up and cloud. How long would it take your company to recover from a virus, malware, spyware, ransomware attack or a natural disaster? What would the cost and reverberating consequences be?

In today’s complex environments, protecting your data is no easy task. Astadia’s Disaster Recovery services will help you modernize and simplify your disaster recovery (DR) environments to ensure your data and systems are secure and always available. Disaster Recovery is a comprehensive portfolio of services that enable business operations to continue to function in the event of any disruption of service. Cloud backups safeguard your business by helping to protect the important files your website or application needs. When a storm hits, we can quickly get you back to normal operations.

I would love to have Astadia’s DR Cloud Factory Services run a full analysis of your organization’s existing infrastructure and recommend the most cost effective and robust backup solution. Then, road-map and walk you through the many factors to consider when planning and designing a DR Strategy.
