Computing geeks: How to Summer?

Try to build your portfolio in this summer. After 02-03 months of dedicated work, with some portfolio on your CV, search for related jobs online/remote.

Basics (must for all): Learn MS word (Google docs), Excel (Google sheets), Power point, and related skills, may be by following this page. In parallel to these basic skills, learn a single job ready skill and master it- Ecommerce, digital marketing, graphics design, VR/VA, data analysis, data engineering, full stack web development, front end or back end developer etc.

Note: Primary goals are skill building, and doing projects that show case your skills. So always focus on projects and learn relevant skills from various courses/certifications/specializations! Take part in various competition. Certifications can be your secondary goal.

CS, SE, IT Students:

1. Choose a single career track from the link and master it. Make portfolio by doing related projects. After completion visit project network of coursera and try projects as many as possible related to your completed certification or specialization!

Note: For free access to coursera courses: Enroll into a single course rather enrolling into a specialization or certification.

• Visit the home page of a course (not the specialization or certification home page)
• Hit enroll button, a window will pop up asking for payment etc.
• Look for tiny audit hyperlink (at the bottom of the window), and click it. That's it!

DS, AI, ML Students:

1. Datacamp: For free access to each course ask your teacher to make an arrangement for you for free access to datacamp under datacamp for class room program. For help related to datacamp this link may be useful. Enroll into a career track of a datacamp (e.g. data analyst, data engineer, developer etc.). Complete it! Attempt projects related to the chosen career track, and showcase in your portfolio. Projects are muist! 
2. Build LLM based applications e.g. chatbots or any application which use LLMS or Vision models. Participate in Gemini API Developer Competition
3. Learn prompt engineering, LLMS, GenAI related concepts from Andrew Ng and co
