COMPOUND IMPROVEMENT

To IMPROVE is not by itself AWESOME. We of course expect some IMPROVEMENT over time.

But COMPOUND IMPROVEMENT or CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT produces AWESOME results.

I remember a key experience in an advanced English or writing class. I don’t remember what I was writing about but the assignment was to make it as good as possible before submitting it.  The subsequent assignment was to make it substantially better.  And the next assignment after that was again to IMPROVE it substantially more.  The key thing I learned is that no matter how good it is you can make it a lot better. Criticism is not inherently bad and perfect is never achieved. But it was amazing how much better things could get after you think they are as good as they can be.

If you could just IMPROVE a little each day, the COMPOUND IMPROVEMENT will be AWESOME.
