Cisco Security Patching!!!

Cisco Security Patching!!!

How many of you are up to date on your critical security patches? I’m not just talking about your windows patches, and as important as they are I think most organizations have a handle on that.

I’m talking about your Network Infrastructure! On Thursday Cisco released almost 3 dozen vulnerabilities across multiple technologies including routers and switches running the IOS and IOSXE operating system. Our experience is that these devices get less attention from IT organizations than the Servers and Endpoints that these devices interconnect.

Our support centre monitors these vulnerabilities closely and determines if our customers are at risk for every release. In some cases, we can make a configuration change that removes the risk, in other cases an OS upgrade is required. Customers that are affected are contacted so that appropriate arrangements can be made to either patch via configuration, or upgrade to a patched release.

Remember, you are only a secure as your weakest link, and the Routers and Switches that serve your people and applications are just as vulnerable as your Servers and Endpoints.

Let our Network Support and Security Operations Centre take care of this arduous task for you, so you can get back to running your business…

You can never have enough security!
