CHOCOLATE
“Life is like a box of CHOCOLATES. You never know what you’re gonna get” Perhaps the most recognized line from Forrest Gump.
I like CHOCOLATE, but I don’t like coconut.
When I get a chocolate from a box of chocolates, if I think “I hope I get something very tasty” and I do, I feel rewarded.
If I think “I hope I don’t get something with coconut” and I get something without coconut, I feel “It’s ok. I didn’t get coconut.”
I figured out I can change my experience with that box of chocolates if I change how I approach it. My attitude or perspective changes my experience.
Is there something you are anticipating today? Is there a way you can have a more positive attitude or perspective first, then see what you want to see?
If you are STORYTELLING, can you set up an anticipation to support your story?
