Chat controlled RC car using a RaspberryPi

I've been streaming myself coding on Twitch for the last couple of months.

I wanted to build something really fun and interactive in the form of a racing game that's controlled by the Twitch chat in real time.

I really wanted to connect the virtual and the physical world, seemed really cool to control a physical thing from the chatroom and see how your actions are translated to movement.

It's been a while since I wanted to do something with the RaspberryPi. I've never been known for starting small so... I started off BIG.

I wrote a post about how I connected everything including Code and more pictures.

The current state of the project is that it controls 2 cars that can race using the chat.

It's been a blast working on this
