Change
Like someone rightly said, "change is the only constant"... Which makes so much sense, when we think about it, and understand it LITERALLY is... Because, every nanosecond that passes by, is a nanosecond of change, and the blood pumping in our veins has changed by flowing, so technically are undergoing change nonstop, thus change a really a constant...
Age wise at the passing of every nanosecond, we are a nanosecond older, and perhaps a nanosecond more smarter, a nanosecond more wiser, a nanosecond more better or worser...
Not just that, the earth keeps spinning, the weather can't make up its mind, the traffic keeps moving, the polar ice caps keeps melting, all of these directly or indirectly affect us and are constantly changing, all of which are not exactly in our control... The changes that are in our control are the personal/professional choice/decision based changes... But are they..? 🤔
Well, many of us who are open to change, are able to assess the pros and cons of a change, and able to accept and/or support and/or help implement the change, if we are convinced...
Unfortunately, there are some who oppose every change, and some who agree to any such change, without even giving it a thought... Neither help, since the importance of a change is lost, instead, it is more of a careless attitude that causes perhaps a negative change to get implemented, or it might prevent a positive change from getting implemented, so, not good...
Change is change... By itself is not good or bad... What's getting changed is good or bad... So, if we think we can't change anything, think again, we can always try changing mindsets...
In closing, all careless mindset towards change needs to change, to ensure we all change in the right direction... Those blindly agreeing to everything must give what is being changed a honest thought, to ensure they are convinced, and those rigidly refusing to change anything must keep an open mind and be willing to share valid objections to convince others on why something should not be changed, thereby everyone concerned will be sharing thoughts & ideas that ensure the best collective wisdom prevails, to always apply change positively...
Parting thoughts… Once we understand (1) all changes can't be controlled (2) some can in terms of what is getting changed (3) net-net something always changes (be it in terms of what is being changed or change in anyones mindset), we can handle change smoothly... 😉
Lastly, tomorrow’s Mystical Mondays topic… "Death"
There is an old joke: How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb? None. The lightbulb must want to change. One day we will have a voice call and I will share my experience with you. Peace out - jp (just pierre)
