Behind the Scenes of a Proposal

Behind the Scenes of a Proposal

Thanksgiving. That was when I first visited Bridal Veil Falls. Little did I know our family visit was part of my brother’s grand scheme of proposing to his [now] fiancée, Emily, there five months later.

To give you some background, my brother is a planner…most of the time. When it comes to proposals (at a waterfall, with multiple friends and family members hiding in the woods, when you can’t control the weather, you have a dog and you’re really nervous) you can only plan so much.

Luckily the weather was great, all friends and family members made it in time, Theodore (the dog) didn’t knock the ring in the water and the perfect spot opened up right in front of the waterfall.
