Becoming a programmer
This article is not about any technical stuff but its a storyline of being a programmer from a student.
So, unlike many people, I didn't have computer science as an additional subject during my high school and it was so because I never wanted to be a programmer, that was just not my dream.
So when I was filling out my graduation entrance exam form my father advised to try in this field as he wanted me to pursue something related to technology and he thought that it would be great for my future. Though I wanted to pursue Political science honors, I try not to deny his advice. Well, that's a long story not gonna bore you with some stuff like that :).
let's get back to the point so after joining the college for like first six months I wasn't able to understand much and syntaxes are actually screwing me up. In my college, I had a teacher, who is actually not liked by many of my classmates. He asked us to practice at least one program each day. I thought of giving it a try and soon I enjoy writing code.
Initially, not all the cases work for my code but gradually I understand how the logic works and how to write code and now I am an android developer, who simply loves his works and enjoys having tech life.
From that time I learned a few things in life-
It's not like that you cannot develop your interest on your own.
I didn't have any interest in coding and that is 100 percent true. I just wanted to learn to programme because that is what I was studying every day.
Practicing will lead you to some steps up.
I literally practice code for 4 months almost on daily basis. I drew flowcharts, write code and run it and tested it. After some time I have started using Hackerrank and Techgig. They both helped me a lot in judging my skills.
Never afraid to try new things.
Initially, I thought that I will never be able to learn code and these languages like they are not my cup of tea. But eventually, I got better in some of them.
Listen to your teachers and parents. They are mostly right.
I truly believe whatever I am today and the reason why I am enjoying my professional life is because I listen to my father and my teacher though, I wasn't able to understand their vision at that time but I gave them a try.
Everything you are doing today will decide some parts of your future.
This needs no explanation that's a harsh truth and yes I can tell you this with my experience.
Life is all about learning... Keep learning and sharing.
Yes Dev sir, every learning you are doing now will help you whittle your future in a better way.
Nice thoughts, it's really fact if you have dedication no one can stop you👍
