Note: AWS won't cost you any money as long as you use the FREE TIER and don't use beyond of the services.

5. Click on create an account and Continue
6. You will then be asked for your payment method because if you go beyond the free tier, you will be then charged with the services that you used. Note: You'll be asked to put in your Credit/Debit card number for the following reasons

Now lets talk about the Global Infrastructure of AWS.
AWS is widely used because it's portable, it has really great security, deployment speed, free tier, pricing, performance, etc. But something great is that AWS is know Worldwide! With over 25 locations, 76 availability zones, 3 announced regions coming up, 97 direct connect Locations and so much more. Your data is stored in a data center to keep your information safe.
Here are the cities that AWS is currently available in:
One quick question that someone might have. What are those numbers near those letters, eg: eu-west-2 Europe (London)? The 2 in that instance is one of the other data centers in Europe west. Usually its best to have 3 since there is more places that can be easily recovered. If there is an instance where lets say you were Using an account that is located in Paris and there is a snow storm and somehow disables or negatively impacts something in the Paris data center. The good news is that your data will be recovered by either eu-west-1 Europe (Ireland) or eu-west-1 Europe (London). That is the reason why many people prefer AWS than other clouds.
Well done.. keep going
