Atos Internship Experience

Wow, I can't believe it is already the end of April and my internship with Atos is coming to the end. I started my internship with Atos in December and got to work right away. I was not sure what to expect diving into a role in sales operations but quickly realized it was all entailing. My first assignment was to source case studies of deals we had previously won on the Unified communication and collaboration (UCC) North America team to present to the sector leads at the Atos North America 2021 Sales Kickoff. This task helped me learn more about what makes a successful deal. It also taught me how to navigate the corporate landscape in order to get in contact with the right people from all over the world. The second major task I was given was to manage the team’s Salesforce accounts. This taught me how to use Salesforce to keep track of deals, create and manage forecasts, and report forecast progress to upper management. The last influential task I was given was to research and qualify accounts for pipeline development. Through my research and analysis, I was able to recommend accounts for my team to go after. This taught me how to better qualify and create an ideal customer profile. in return helped my team to increase our close rate by twenty percent. Overall my internship has been an amazing learning opportunity and I can’t wait to transfer these skills into a full-time position when I graduate in May. I want to thank everyone on my team for everything you taught me and the good times we’ve had during the process. Thank you, John Brennan, Tom Conway, Jane Jelema, Eddi Mihaila, and Jamie Ku. All of you greatly enhanced my experience I can’t thank you enough!
