Asking for Arrays

Asking for Arrays

Dynamic arrays have now escaped into the wild for some lucky Excel 365 Insider Fast recipients. This means many of the cool things you wanted to do in Excel have suddenly become simple (e.g. have PivotTables that don't need to be refreshed, create a unique list without user defined functions, filter without Advanced Filters, Data Tables without mega memory usage).

Check out https://www.sumproduct.com/news/article/getting-arrays-spilling-the-beans-on-seven-new-functions for the full gen and a free file to download - although caveat emptor - it probably won't work on your machine just yet. But know the future now so you hit the ground running when they get a broader release - and get excited now, 'cos these features are cool!
