AHEAD Model

As proposed by Malcolm Frank et al: It outlines the five distinct approaches for winning with “systems of intelligence” (SOI is the ecosystem in the business environment that helps the business functions using the heuristic learning features of machines)

1.      Automate : Outsourcing of repetitive work to the new machine. Here the machines are viewed as “servant/slaves”

2.      Halo : Interconnecting the products & people, leverage the data exhaust that generate through their connected and online behaviours to create new customer experience and business models. Machines as enablers.

3.      Enhance : View the computer that can increase our productivity, utilization and satisfaction. Machines as colleagues

4.      Abundance : Use the new machine to open up vast new markets by dropping the price point of existing offers. Machines as guides

5. Discovery : Leverage AI to conceive entirely new products, services and industries. Machines as gurus/mentor/coaches
