20 basic rules for great Teams

What makes great leaders and great teams. The 20 basic rules I have always lived by and have helped me to be able to build great teams, I hope these help you all.

1) Always show grace-love-mercy-and humbleness to your work family, respect them-honor them make them feel like the kings and queens they are, and believe in them.

2) Always give as much grace as possible people have situations in life that are out of their control; work with them and help them through if you can.

3) Listen to your team, if you listen very closely, most of the time, you will hear that they already know the answer to their problem, they just needed to hear themselves say it.

4) Always be compassionate, NO ONE IS PERFECT!

5) Always try the ideas of the team, by doing this you gain their trust and respect.

6) Always let them know they are important, no matter what position they hold.

7) Always make decisions as a team, remember if you stand togethor everyone wins, this doesn't mean you completely agree on everything but show the respect to your team and stand with them.

8) Always stand in strong in what you believe in, be humble enough to admit when you are wrong, remember pride ruins relationships.

9) Never put yourself above the team, be equal in all things.

10) Be stern when you have to, but do it in a loving manner, never belittling another person.

11) Never do anything out of anger.

12) Always sleep on important decisions.

13) Give your best every day set the standard of what is expected and be consistent in your actions.

14) Take captive your thought and words about others, don't speak if you don't have anything nice to say.

15) Create a diverse environment, never judging others, everyone is different. That is what makes a great team.

16) Treat others as you want to be treated.

17) Always find the good in every situation.

18) Never point your fingers at another person. It is dis-repectful and shows aggression.

19) Keep an arm's distance away from others, so never to initimidate them.

20) Always be accountable for your actions whether you are right or wrong.

To be a great leader you must first know how to be a great follower.

God's word from Micah, Chapter 6, verse 8 New King James Version:

He has shown you a man what is good and what does the Lord require of you. But to do justly, to love mercy, to walk humbly with your God.
