I think the hardest part about looking for a job is your family, friends and other people you know constantly asking if you’ve found something yet. I know they do it out of love and are trying to be supportive, but deep down it adds massive pressure to an already sensitive topic and is a constant reminder that hundreds if not thousands of companies have passed on you or don’t see the value you can bring to the table. TL;DR: What I’m looking for is a company with a great culture, uplifts and encourages their employees to become better and recognizes I can be an asset to their team. Here is my (brief) story: In 2018, I leveraged my skills in graphic design, web development, and videography to become a freelancer, attracting over 20 clients through word of mouth. Two years later, the idea for a SaaS company emerged, prompting me to assemble a team of software developers. Collaborating with them fueled my love for software development. In 2022, I attended a three-month software development bootcamp, honing my expertise in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, and acquiring knowledge in MVC, Node.js, MongoDB, C#, Web API, and Vue. By 2023, I got a job as a Brand and Marketing manager, where I played a pivotal role in video editing and contributed to an online course's creation. Additionally, I significantly boosted the company's social media presence, achieving a remarkable increase in impressions by 223.98% (54,051), engagement by 274.08% (1,635), and clicks by 193.80% (2,088) within five months of hire, compared to the previous year's averages of 16,674 impressions, 436 engagements, and 710 clicks. On top of all this, I continued to expand my programming skills by learning Swift and SwiftUI to develop native iOS apps, including an Instagram clone. I have a diverse skillset, encompassing web design and development, content creation, video editing, social media management, marketing, sales, customer service, and leadership. My LinkedIn profile features recommendations that highlight my driven, positive, organized, reliable, friendly, and optimistic personality. While I’d love to start my software development journey, I know with the current market that’s near impossible as most companies can select a candidate with years of experience to fill a junior role. So then, what am I looking for? Honestly, I’m not looking for a specific role as I have experience in many areas. What I’m looking for is a company with a great culture, uplifts and encourages their employees to become better and recognizes I can be an asset. I know that company is out there, but I need help finding it. So, if you or someone you know is affiliated with a company that aligns with my aspirations, and is looking for someone like me - please don't hesitate to DM me. If not, no worries, just like this post to help expand its reach (and it's free, after all 😉). —— Check out my portfolio -> https://zachras.com #softwaredevelopment #programming #coding #marketing #sales
