In the era of AI agents, copilots, and code generation… Yet somehow… developers still struggle with one of the oldest problems in frontend history: Centering a div. Today I open the VS Code agent panel, ask an AI to generate logic, and still end up fighting with layout alignment. #WebDevelopment #Frontend #CSS #Flexbox #CSSGrid #VSCode #DeveloperLife #CodingHumor #TechHumor #Programming #DevProblems #BuildInPublic #SoftwareEngineering

Lately, experimenting with landing pages that have scroll-based storytelling. In this project, I tried to show different stages of development that occur within us: - How we start as a molecule - Neurons are activated - A brain is formed - The human body occurs A lot of intermediate steps, shapes, and structures are missing as this is just an experiment. This is built upon an older project I made for a client last year, where my task was to create particle systems that morph into different shapes. The base shapes are taken from various 3D models. Stack I used: - @threejs for particle morphing - Reactjs for the UI components - TypeScript and Glsl as the programming languages.

The AI code editor war just got serious. Last week I tested both Cursor and Claude-cli on the same project — a full-stack Next.js app with 47 files. Here's what happened: Cursor rewrote my entire auth module in 12 seconds. Clean. Type-safe. Zero errors on first compile. Claude went further — it understood my project architecture, suggested 3 new API routes I hadn't thought of, and auto-generated Playwright tests. Both blew my mind. But for different reasons. Cursor is a surgeon — precise, fast, minimal. Claude is an architect — contextual, strategic, holistic. My take as a developer who's shipped production code for 10+ years: Use Cursor when you know WHAT to build. Use Claude when you need help figuring out HOW. The real winners? Developers who learn to use both. Which AI IDE are you betting on in 2026? . . . . . #Cursor #Windsurf #AICodeEditor #DevTools #SoftwareEngineering #NextJS #TypeScript #CodingLife #AIProductivity #DeveloperExperience #FullStackDev #Programming #TechTrends2026 #WebDevelopment #CodingTools #IDE #AIAssistant #CodeFaster #BuildInPublic #TechCareers

Over the past week, I focused on strengthening my React fundamentals through a series of small, interactive projects as part of my Java Full Stack with Generative AI programme. Instead of just reading concepts, I made sure every topic was applied directly in the UI. Key areas I worked on: - State & events: Handling user actions and updating the interface instantly. - Hooks (including effect): Managing component behaviour and side effects in a structured way. - Lists & keys: Rendering repeating elements efficiently while keeping updates predictable. To practise these ideas, I built UIs such as an ATM-style withdrawal card, a random counter that tracks even/odd state, a calorie "burn it off" tracker, feedback components, and a destination search interface. I'll continue sharing these outputs and code snippets as part of documenting my learning journey and inviting feedback from the community. #React #FrontendDevelopment #FullStackDevelopment #LearningInPublic #DeveloperJourney

It’s no longer about who knows what programming languages and JavaScript frameworks to focus on. It’s only about an idea that you can communicate to your client and execute on as fast as you can. Time to market is all that matters. If you’re interested in seeing how design and development intersect with AI, let me know. There is a lot to desire.
