Learning about High Availability and Redundancy in AWS. A single server can become a single point of failure. By using multiple Availability Zones, Load Balancer, and standby database, applications can continue running even if one server fails. Excited to explore more about AWS architecture and cloud concepts. ##DevopsEngineer #AwscloudEngineer #CloudEngineer #Experienced

Did you know one of the most important AWS services for modern applications requires no server management at all? 🤯 After clearing my AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solutions Architect certifications, AWS Lambda AWS Lambda is the backbone of serverless computing in AWS. It allows you to run code without provisioning or managing servers, making applications more scalable and cost-efficient. 🔹 Why AWS Lambda is important: ✔ Core service in serverless architecture ✔ Works seamlessly with S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB & more ✔ Automatically scales from zero to millions of requests ✔ Pay only for what you use 🔹 Real-world example: Upload a file to S3 → Lambda triggers automatically → processes the file (resize, transform, etc.) This is why AWS Lambda is a must-know service for anyone preparing for cloud roles. Looking forward to diving deeper into more AWS services 🚀 #AWS #CloudComputing #Serverless #AWSSolutionsArchitect #LearningInPublic #CloudEngineer #WomenInTech

Day 3 – 30 Days Cloud Challenge ☁️ Today I dove into Amazon Web Services (AWS), It is one of the world's leading cloud platforms and I also explored how it delivers on-demand services for building and running modern applications. AWS organizes its services into key categories: Compute — EC2 (virtual servers), Lambda (serverless functions) Storage — S3, EBS, Glacier Database — RDS, DynamoDB Networking — VPC, Route 53, Load Balancing The highlight is 'Scalability on demand' Businesses no longer need to invest in costly physical infrastructure, so with AWS, you provision only what you need and when you need it. This makes building, deploying and managing applications faster and more flexible than ever. #30DaysChallenge #m4ace #AWS #CloudComputing #DevOps #CloudSupport #LearningInPublic #CloudBuilder #Day3

Cloud Automation Project: Automating Backups with AWS Lambda & S3 I’ve been working on automating cloud backups using AWS Lambda and S3. The goal was to create a serverless system that backs up my important files to S3 at regular intervals. The results? ✅ Fully automated backups ✅ Reduced human error ✅ Learning how to use AWS CLI and Lambda triggers This project has helped me dive deeper into serverless architecture, and I’m eager to explore more AWS services like CloudFormation and EC2 in future projects. Any AWS pros here? Would love to hear your thoughts on improving cloud automation! 🔧 #AWS #Serverless #CloudAutomation #Lambda #TechProjects #CloudDevelopment #CloudLearning

AWS cost optimization is a skill most teams learn too late. Working in cloud infrastructure shown me how quickly costs compound when teams move fast without cost awareness. Common leaks I've seen: → NAT Gateways transferring TBs of unintended traffic → EBS volumes attached to stopped instances → Unused Elastic IPs sitting idle → Over-provisioned RDS instances The cloud bill is honest. Your architecture tells you the truth. Every engineer should understand the cost implications of what they deploy. Have you ever found an unexpected AWS cost leak? #AWS #CloudCost #FinOps #DevOps #CloudComputing

🚀 AWS RDS vs Running Your Own Database on EC2 — What Should You Choose? While working on cloud deployments, I recently explored two common approaches for hosting databases on AWS: 👉 1. AWS RDS (Managed Database) 👉 2. Self-hosted DB on EC2 Here’s a simple breakdown: 🔹 AWS RDS ✔ Fully managed by AWS ✔ Automatic backups & patching ✔ Easy scaling ✔ High availability (Multi-AZ) ❌ Slightly higher cost ❌ Less control over configuration 🔹 Database on EC2 ✔ Full control over database setup ✔ Lower cost (in some cases) ✔ Custom configurations possible ❌ Manual backups & maintenance ❌ More responsibility (security, scaling, failover) 💡 My Take: If you want reliability, scalability, and less operational headache → go with RDS If you want control, flexibility, and cost optimization → EC2 setup can work well 📌 In production environments, RDS often saves time and reduces risk significantly. What do you prefer for your projects — Managed DB or Self-hosted? 🤔 #AWS #CloudComputing #RDS #EC2 #DevOps #BackendDevelopment #Learning

Moving to the cloud doesn’t automatically make your system scalable. Many companies migrate to AWS, Azure, or GCP and still face performance issues. Why? Because scalability is not an infrastructure feature. It’s an architecture decision. From database design to caching strategies and asynchronous processing, modern systems require intentional design to truly scale. 👉 Cloud without architecture = expensive problems. 🔗 Learn how we help you to build scalable, future-ready systems: https://lnkd.in/diF6Fs7W ... #SoftwareEngineering #CloudComputing #SystemDesign #Scalability #BackendDevelopment #DevOps #TechTrends #AWS #Azure #GCP
