Exciting news — Remergify and Farrington Capital Group are officially launching ReadySetFundGrow (RSFG), a planned micro-datacenter, tech incubator, and EV charging hub coming to Homestead, FL. South Miami-Dade has never had a Tier-grade data center. Local businesses in healthcare, legal, logistics, and fintech have been forced to route critical data 30+ miles north — adding cost, latency, and risk. We're changing that. #ReadySetFundGrow #MicroDatacenter #EdgeComputing #TechInfrastructure #CoworkingSpace #EVCharging #VirtualOffice #ManagedServices #Homestead #SouthFlorida #MiamiDade #SouthDade #MiamiTech #FloridaTech #US1Corridor

District Hall (Boston Seaport) District Hall, once a central hub for Boston’s startup ecosystem, has remained closed since 2023 despite promises from owner WS Development to reopen in summer 2024. The Seaport innovation center, which opened in 2013, previously hosted 400,000+ attendees and provided free workspace, events, and networking for early-stage founders. Since the closure, little visible progress has occurred; the most recent activity was a $3.2M interior renovation permit filed in January 2024. Communication from the developer has been minimal, with no confirmed reopening timeline and limited public updates. The loss of District Hall removed a rare free gathering space for Boston’s startup community, forcing founders toward paid coworking options that can cost $259–$399/month or ~$60/day. Today, the building remains dark and inactive, and even the District Hall website has lapsed, redirecting to unrelated gambling content—highlighting the uncertainty around the space’s future. Bottom line: District Hall’s prolonged closure represents a notable gap in Boston’s innovation infrastructure, eliminating a highly accessible collaboration space that helped early-stage founders build networks and launch companies. One of the very first computers arrived in Hull in 1959; a huge mainframe installed at Reckitt. An entire room of machinery. Punch cards. White-coated engineers. Almost 70 years ago... Since then the region has built banks and building societies, huge retailers, games studios, SaaS companies, digital agencies, AI firms, fintech platforms, and thousands of software teams. But something a bit odd happened along the way. The companies using and deploying tech grew. But the community never really did. London has thousands of rooms where founders, engineers, investors and operators constantly collide. Cambridge has the same. Manchester has built it over the last decade. Yorkshire? We have the companies. But there is a far less joined up tech community. There are annual festivals and some great one-off and infrequent events. But there is no huge county-wide community. That is the gap Silicon Yorkshire is trying to close. Our next event for tech professionals is coming up fast. Details are you know where 👇

I’ve noticed something about tech startups. They’ll insure their office. They’ll insure their cars. They’ll insure their data. But they won’t insure the one thing that drives executive decisions daily — the laptop. When a founder or senior executive loses access to their laptop for two weeks, it’s not just repair time. It’s: • Investor emails delayed • Contracts pending approval • Strategic decisions paused Momentum doesn’t wait for repairs. That’s exactly why we built HardTech Solutions around continuity — not ownership. Subscription laptop. Proactive maintenance. Defined response times. No panic. No downtime. No operational disruption. If your leadership team’s laptop failed tomorrow, what’s your continuity plan? Let’s fix that before you need it. Send me a direct message.
