After nearly a month of interviews, I was rejected for two Senior Front-End Engineering roles at Disney — a company I’ve admired and truly thought I was meant to be part of. I don’t have a computer science degree, but I made it to the final rounds with two different teams, including Disney’s Spatial Development team. That alone felt like a win — but it also felt like finishing in second place. Instead of letting the rejection break me, I built something from it. After losing my mom last year, Inside Out became one of my favorite Disney films — especially how it showed memories as glowing orbs that hold emotion and story. That idea inspired a new feature in my app, Memento° — a 3D space where users can explore their memories inside glowing orbs. A place to remember, reflect, and reconnect. Still working out the kinks, but proud of how far it’s come. Rejection doesn’t mean failure — sometimes it’s redirection. Through this process, I’ve realized how much I love spatial development — building experiences you can literally step inside of. And I can’t wait to see where that leads next. #reactthreefiber #spatialdevelopment #disney #threejs #reactjs #pixar

This is incredible!!! What an amazing and innovative idea! Keep pushing

Super cool! Welp, Disney's loss, someone else's gain 😂 Your post popped up in my feed. Keep on showing up and the right offer will happen at the right time!
