Your AWS problem isn’t in production. It’s in your naming. “final-db” “final-db-v2” “final-db-final” “test-final-new” Now try debugging that at 2 AM. Cloud complexity doesn’t start with scale. It starts with small chaos no one fixes. #AWS #DevOps #CloudComputing #StartupTech #Engineering

Most engineers don’t realize this AWS mistake. I didn’t either… until I saw the bill. Your cloud cost isn’t high because AWS is expensive. It’s high because of how we use it. I’ve seen this across teams: • Over-provisioned instances • Idle resources running 24/7 • No visibility into usage You end up paying for things no one is even using. Fixing this doesn’t require new tools. Just better decisions. Swipe through this carousel to see what to fix → I share practical DevOps & cloud insights here 🚀 #aws #cloudcomputing #devops #softwareengineer #cloudengineer #finops #engineering

Working with AWS CDK can be extremely beneficial and useful but it’s not without its challenges. From managing complex constructs and navigating breaking changes between versions, to debugging CloudFormation stacks when things go wrong, the learning curve can be steeper than expected. Add in cross-stack dependencies, environment-specific configurations, and understanding infrastructure that behaves differently than intended and it can quickly become tricky to manage at scale. That said, once you get past the hurdles, CDK offers a level of flexibility and abstraction that’s hard to beat. Curious, what challenges have you run into with AWS CDK on your journey? #AWS #Cloud #Devops #SoleymanShahir #CloudCostOptimization #FinOps #CloudArchitecture #CloudInfrastructure #CostOptimization #CloudEngineering #SRE #ITLeadership #OperationalExcellence

One thing I’m actively learning in my cloud journey: Architecture is not about building — it’s about deciding. Working with Amazon Web Services has made this very clear. Every system involves trade-offs: Performance vs cost Speed of development vs long-term maintainability Simplicity vs scalability Early on, I used to focus on “getting it to work.” Now, I’m starting to think more about: How will this scale? What happens under load? What are we optimizing for? That shift in thinking is what I’m working towards. #SolutionArchitect #AWS #Cloud #DevOps #SystemDesign

One thing I didn’t expect while working with AWS was how easy it is to make something “work”… and still design it wrong. In my initial setup, everything was running fine — instances were up, services were reachable. But later I realized I hadn’t really thought about: -how traffic flows between components -what should and shouldn’t be publicly exposed -how small design decisions affect debugging later Fixing those mistakes didn’t change functionality — it changed how reliable and secure the system actually was. That’s when I understood: cloud engineering isn’t just about making things run — it’s about designing them correctly. #CloudEngineering #AWS #DevOps

☁️ Real Question About Cloud (Need Expert Opinions) While learning cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure, I came across something confusing 👇 👉 In real-world systems, how do teams decide between: • Microservices vs Monolithic architecture? • Containers (Docker/Kubernetes) vs traditional VMs? In theory, everything looks clear… but I’m sure real decisions depend on scale, cost, and complexity. Would love to hear how you approach this in actual projects 👇 #CloudComputing #DevOps #AWS #Azure #SystemDesign

Azure has 200+ services. Most people pick wrong because they're overwhelmed. This guide cuts through the noise and shows you: • Which services actually matter for your use case • When to use compute vs containers vs serverless • How to avoid overengineering • Cost optimization strategies If you're tired of analysis paralysis when architecting on Azure, watch this. https://lnkd.in/eE72EYSu #Azure #CloudArchitecture #DevOps

💡 Graviton = Performance + Savings At TO THE NEW DevOps, we love finding hidden wins for Amazon Web Services (AWS) workloads. One of the easiest? Switching to Graviton. Same apps. Better performance. Lower cost. Less power. ⚡💸🌱 Many teams stick to x86 out of habit — but small tweaks like this make a big FinOps difference. Want smarter, leaner cloud workloads? Reach out to us at TO THE NEW DevOps — we’ll help you optimize your cloud the right way. #TTNDevOps #AWS #Graviton #FinOps #CloudOptimization #CostSavings #DevOps

Big update from our cloud team today… We’ve built a new AWS feature that founders will love. It automatically detects: • unused resources • overprovisioned instances • unnecessary services …and shuts them down before they affect your bill. No dashboards. No alerts. No late-night DevOps debugging. Just clean, optimized cloud infrastructure. … April Fools. 😄 But if your AWS bill does feel like a mystery sometimes — you’re not alone. #AprilFools #AWS #CloudComputing #DevOps #StartupIndia
