One thing I’ve learned while working with data: Good analysis doesn’t start with data, it starts with questions. Before opening SQL, Python, or Power BI, I have found it more effective to first understand: What problem are we solving? What decision needs to be made? What does success look like? From there, the data becomes much easier to work with, and the insights become more meaningful. It is a simple shift, but it makes a big difference between just reporting numbers and actually supporting decisions.
