Day 15 of learning to code. Today I explored arrow functions in JavaScript, and honestly, they make things feel much simpler. Earlier, I used to write functions like this: function add(a, b) { return a + b; } Now with arrow functions, it becomes: const add = (a, b) => a + b; Same output, but the code feels shorter and cleaner. I also noticed that arrow functions are really useful when dealing with small tasks, especially while working with arrays. For example: const numbers = [1, 2, 3]; numbers.forEach(num => console.log(num)); It just feels more natural to read and write. One small but important realization today: Writing better code doesn’t mean writing more code. It means writing it in a simpler, clearer, and more efficient way. Understanding loops in JavaScript is not about memorizing syntax, it’s about mastering control flow. The difference between while and do...while loops comes down to one key concept: timing. • while loop checks the condition before execution • do...while loop checks the condition after execution That’s why: - A while loop may never run - A do...while loop always runs at least once This distinction becomes critical when: • Handling user input • Running validations • Building interactive logic Choosing the right loop isn’t just about code — it’s about intention. Instead of just using .map(), I tried implementing it myself using Array.prototype polyfills to understand how it actually works internally. The idea is simple: Loop through the array Run a callback on each element Store the returned value in a new array Return the new array at the end Small exercise, but it really helps understand what JavaScript is doing behind the scenes when we call built in methods. Sometimes writing things from scratch teaches more than just using the method.
