🐢 Day 19 – Fun with Functions and Turtle Graphics! Today’s coding session was all about combining logic and creativity in Python! 💡 I explored: 1. Functions as inputs 2. Higher-order functions 3. Instances and states of various objects To put these concepts into action, I built two interactive projects using the turtle module 🐢👇 🏁 Turtle Race Game – Place your bet and watch the colorful turtles race to the finish line with random speeds! ✏ Etch-a-Sketch Game – Control your turtle with the keyboard to draw shapes and patterns. (W, A, S, D for movement, C to clear) These projects helped me deeply understand how functions and object instances work together to create interactive programs. #100DaysOfCode #Python #TurtleGraphics #Day19 #CodingJourney #HigherOrderFunctions #PythonProjects

Had some fun by bringing art to life with Python! I created this hypnotic pattern using the turtle library for the graphics and the colorsys library to dynamically generate that smooth color transition. It's a simple script, but it’s a great exercise in using loops and hsv_to_rgb conversion to create something visually complex. It's always so satisfying to watch the program draw it line by line. I've attached a video of the code and output. #Python #CreativeCoding #TurtleGraphics #CodeArt #Programming #Developer #Tech #Visualization

Built a Python simulation of the Monty Hall problem 🎯, a classic probability puzzle based on a game show scenario Great for practicing conditionals, loops and user input. Here’s the idea: • You’re given 3 doors • One has a prize, two are empty • You pick one • The host opens one empty door • You’re asked: Stick or Switch? #BuildInPublic

🎯 Day 18 of #100DaysOfCode in Python 🐍 Today, I explored the Python Turtle Graphics module — a simple yet powerful way to create graphics and understand GUI concepts visually. I went through the official Python Turtle documentation, where I learned how to: 🟢 Draw shapes and patterns using the turtle library 🟢 Move the turtle using coordinates and angles 🟢 Customize colors, pen size, and speed 🟢 Use loops to generate creative designs It’s fascinating how Python can be used not just for backend logic, but also for building interactive graphical programs that make learning fun and visual! Next, I plan to create a few creative patterns and maybe a small animation using Turtle 🐢✨ #Python #100DaysOfCode #LearningInPublic #TurtleGraphics #GUI #CodingJourney #DeveloperGrowth

I'm delighted to discover one can now visualize high quality hyperspectral imagery from Wyvern directly in a notebook thanks to Qiusheng Wu. Yesterday he implemented support for the HyperCoast Python package, and today he released a tutorial on his YouTube channel. The richness of hyperspectral data is opening up completely new applications that were impossible with earlier technology. This is going to open up a ton of possibilities for GeoAI. 🚀 #Hyperspectral #RemoteSensing #HyperCoast #Python #JupyterNotebook The URL for the official HyperCoast documentation is: https://hypercoast.org/ Tutorial here: https://lnkd.in/gextM9k7

Ever wondered why your function prints the right result but gives you None when you try to use it elsewhere? That’s the magic (and the mystery) of return vs print() in Python. One displays, the other delivers. One is for debugging, the other is for building. Understanding this simple difference can transform how you write, test, and structure your code. Check out my short video below I walk you through clear examples that make this concept stick for life. Let’s keep growing together, line by line, logic by logic. #Python #CodingTips #LearnToCode #CodeYourWorld #SoftwareDevelopment #ProgrammingBasics #DevelopersJourney

I decided to build my own 2D game engine in Python—and here’s what happened! I’ve been working on pynity, a simple 2D game editor and engine built in Python. It lets you: Arrange objects and scenes with a basic editor Add Python scripts to control game behaviors It’s been a blast experimenting with object interactions, events, and seeing a tiny engine actually work. I’m still adding features like animation and sound, but it’s incredibly satisfying to watch a Python script come to life!
