15+ Years in Web Development? You remember when: → document.getElementById was revolutionary → Ajax was "the future" → jQuery was a game-changer → No npm, no webpack, no build tools Just HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and determination. We built complex apps with 1% of today's tools. Good times. #WebDevelopment #OldSchool #JavaScript

Why I stopped using jQuery for everything When I started web development, jQuery felt magical. One line of code and things just worked. But as I moved into modern projects, I realized something important. Most of what I used jQuery for… 👉 JavaScript can already do now. Things like: 1- Selecting elements 2- Handling events 3- Animations 4- AJAX requests Modern JavaScript (ES6+) and frameworks like React made my code: 1- cleaner 2- faster 3- easier to maintain jQuery is still useful for old projects and quick fixes, but for new apps, I prefer using vanilla JS or React. It’s not about what’s outdated. It’s about what fits today’s development needs. Are you still using jQuery in your projects, or have you moved on? #JavaScript #jQuery #FrontendDeveloper #WebDevelopment #LearningJourney

🚀 Announcement: jQuery 4 is Here! 🎉 After nearly a decade, jQuery 4 has officially been released — marking a major milestone for one of the most iconic JavaScript libraries in web development. 🔹 What’s new in jQuery 4? Modernized codebase with ES Modules Removal of long-deprecated APIs Dropped support for very old browsers to embrace modern standards Improved security alignment (Trusted Types & CSP friendly) Cleaner, lighter, and more future-ready While modern frameworks dominate new projects, jQuery continues to power millions of websites — and jQuery 4 proves that mature libraries can still evolve with the web. If you’re maintaining legacy apps or planning an upgrade from jQuery 3, now’s the time to review the migration guide and refactor toward native JavaScript patterns. 👏 Respect to the jQuery team for keeping this classic relevant! #jQuery4 #JavaScript #FrontendDevelopment #WebDevelopment #TechUpdates #Coding

Most websites add Dark Mode. But many forget to save user preference.🚀 In this project, I built a Dark & Light Theme Toggle using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and stored the selected theme in localStorage so it remains saved even after refreshing or reopening the browser. This small feature significantly improves user experience and makes frontend projects feel more professional. 💡What This Project Covers: • DOM manipulation • classList.toggle() • localStorage setItem() & getItem() • Theme persistence logic • Clean modern UI structure 🎥 YouTube Tutorial: You can watch the complete step-by-step process here 👇🏻 https://lnkd.in/dH9q-aT2 If you're learning frontend development, implementing theme persistence is a great real-world practice project. #webdevelopement #localstorage #savetheme #javascript #consistency #darkmode #uidesign

Just built a *DOM Controller Chrome Extension* 🧩 This small tool can instantly modify any webpage without editing its code: * Change background color * Update all headings at once * Increase/decrease font size for readability The goal wasn’t just to make buttons; it was to understand how content scripts interact with real websites and manipulate the DOM dynamically. Step by step, I’m moving deeper into browser automation & productivity tools 🚀 Next: more practical extensions that solve real workflow problems. If you’re learning web development, try building small utilities like this; they teach more than tutorials ever will. #ChromeExtension #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #Frontend #Automation

JavaScript for Beginners: Make Your Website Interactive and Alive! ⚡ Think of a website like a human body: HTML builds the structure, CSS styles the look, but JavaScript controls the behavior. It is truly the brain of the web. Without JavaScript, there is no logic, no interactivity, and no modern web apps. Almost every website you visit today depends on it to function. #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #CodingBeginner #Frontend #ProgrammingTips

Continued building frontend fundamentals with JavaScript today. Improved a feedback page by: • Replacing alerts with inline messages • Adding visual feedback using dynamic colors • Handling user input cleanly with DOM manipulation Code documented on GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gThJHDVm Consistency over intensity. #WebDevelopment #JavaScript #Frontend #Consistency
