A small moment that made me rethink data I was working on a dataset and everything looked fine at first. Numbers matched. Queries ran correctly. Dashboard looked clean. But something felt… off. After digging deeper, I found a small inconsistency in the data — something that could have easily been ignored. Fixing that one issue completely changed the insight. That’s when I realized: Data analysis isn’t just about getting results — it’s about questioning them. Now, I always ask: “Does this actually make sense?” #DataAnalytics #DataThinking #SQL #LearningInPublic

🧠 SQL is not just about queries — it's about thinking When working with data, the challenge is rarely “how to query”. The real challenge is: • Understanding the data • Identifying patterns • Detecting what doesn’t make sense SQL becomes powerful when you combine it with analytical thinking. That’s where real value comes from. #SQL #DataAnalytics #Thinking #Data

Turning raw data into meaningful insights 📊 Worked on structuring data using SQL and explored how GROUP BY and COUNT can simplify analysis by organizing data into clear summaries. It’s interesting to see how a few queries can reveal patterns hidden inside rows of data. Day 11/100 What if you could get exactly the data you need… and ignore the rest? 👀 Today, we’ll be talking about LIMIT. When working with large datasets, returning everything isn’t always useful. 🔹 "LIMIT" helps you restrict the number of rows 🔹 It improves readability and performance 🔹 Perfect for getting top results quickly. In data analysis, precision beats volume. #SQL #DataAnalytics #LearningJourney #100DaysOfCode #TechSkills #Data

Day 7 of posting about Data Analytics. Ever feel like your SQL data is playing hide-and-seek?String functions are your secret weapon! From cleaning up messy text with TRIM() to extracting just the right info with SUBSTRING(), these functions are incredibly powerful. They help you transform raw data into actionable insights, making your reports look great. Today I revisited a few string functions. What's your go-to SQL string function? Share your favorite in the comments. Mine is CONCAT.I love how it gracefully handles NULLS as opposed to using + #DataAnalytics #SQL #StringFunctions ##Datascience #Techcommunity

I learnt today that we can use range in joins, not just primary key–foreign key relationships, to map data. Also realized that ORDER BY can apply different sorting logic to different rows using CASE. #SQL #DataAnalytics #DataAnalyst #BusinessIntelligence #DataScience #Analytics #TechCareers #EnjoyLearning

Most analysts jump into data too fast 👇 After my last post, I realized something. A lot of us (including me earlier) make the same mistake: We start with data… instead of the problem. Open SQL Pull tables Build dashboards Only to realize later — 👉 This isn’t answering the real question Now I try to pause and ask first: What decision will this support? Who is going to use this? What actually matters here? It sounds simple, but this changes everything. Because good analysts don’t just analyze data — They solve the right problems. Do you start with data or the problem? #DataAnalytics #BusinessThinking #SQL #CareerGrowth #Analytics

🚀 Day 16/30 – SQL Challenge Today’s problem focused on understanding data variation using aggregation. 📌 Problem: Find the difference between the highest and lowest population in the CITY dataset. 💡 What I learned: This challenge helped me understand how to quickly measure the spread of data — an important concept in data analysis and reporting. 🔥 Key Insight: Knowing the gap between maximum and minimum values is useful for: 1. Analyzing data distribution 2. Identifying extremes in datasets 3. Building meaningful summary metrics #SQL #DataEngineering #LearningJourney #30DaysChallenge
