🚀 React Series – Day 13 useRef - A Simple Way to Persist Values Without Re-rendering In React, most developers rely on state to manage data. But not every value needs to trigger a UI update. This is where useRef comes in. It allows you to store a value that persists across renders without causing the component to re-render. Some common use cases: • Accessing DOM elements (e.g., focusing an input field) • Storing previous values • Managing timers or intervals For example, focusing an input field without re-rendering the component is a perfect use case for useRef. 👉 The key difference: State updates → re-render component useRef updates → no re-render This makes it a great choice for handling values that don’t directly affect the UI. #reactjs #javascript #frontenddeveloper #webdevelopment #codinginterview #learnreact #30daysofcode #programming #reactinterview #react #coding

🚀 React Series – Day 15 Higher-Order Components (HOC) – Reusing Logic the Smart Way As applications grow, repeating the same logic across multiple components can make code harder to maintain. A Higher-Order Component (HOC) is a pattern used to reuse component logic. In simple terms, an HOC is a function that takes a component and returns a new enhanced component. Instead of duplicating logic, you can wrap components with an HOC to add extra behavior like: • Authentication checks • Logging • Data fetching 👉 This keeps your code cleaner and promotes reusability. Although modern React often uses hooks for similar purposes, understanding HOCs is still important - especially when working with older codebases. #reactjs #javascript #frontenddeveloper #webdevelopment #codinginterview #learnreact #30daysofcode #programming #reactinterview #react #coding

🚀 6 React Hooks that changed how I write code — and will change yours too. If you're still confused about when to use what, here's the simplest breakdown: 🔵 useState → Store & update values. Every re-render starts here. 🌐 useEffect → Talk to the outside world (APIs, DOM, subscriptions). 📦 useRef → Hold a value WITHOUT triggering a re-render. A hidden drawer for your data. 🧠 useCallback → Memoize functions so they don't get recreated on every render. ⚡ useMemo → Cache expensive calculations. Only recompute when dependencies change. 🌍 useContext → Share state globally. No more prop drilling through 5 layers. The moment these clicked for me, my components became cleaner, faster, and way easier to debug. Which hook took you the longest to truly understand? What Are React Hooks? ⚛️ React Hooks changed the way we build components making code cleaner, more reusable, and easier to manage. In simple terms, React Hooks let you use state and other React features without writing a class component. 🔹 Common Hooks: • useState – Manage state in functional components • useEffect – Handle side effects (API calls, updates) • useContext – Share data across components • useRef – Access DOM elements directly 🔹 Why Hooks Matter: • Cleaner and more readable code • Better logic reuse • Simplified state management • Faster development Hooks aren’t just a feature they’re a shift toward modern React development. If you’re still relying on class components… it’s time to upgrade 🚀 #ReactJS #WebDevelopment #JavaScript #Frontend #Programming #ReactHooks

🚀 React 19 is officially changing the game for form handling! Say goodbye to manual 'loading' and 'error' states forever. The introduction of the `useActionState` hook (formerly useFormState) is a massive win for DX. It automatically handles the transition from pending states to data return without the need for multiple `useState` or `useEffect` calls. Why this is a breakthrough: ✅ Native Pending State: The `isPending` boolean is built-in. ✅ Error Handling: Easily capture and display server responses. ✅ Progressive Enhancement: Forms work even before the full JS bundle loads. ✅ Cleaner UI Logic: Decouple your business logic from your component state. React is moving closer to the platform, and I am here for it! Are you upgrading to React 19 yet? 🚀 React Series – Day 6 Handling User Actions in React (Events Made Simple) User interaction is at the heart of every application - clicks, typing, form submissions. In React, handling these actions is straightforward and similar to JavaScript, with a few small differences. Events are written in camelCase, such as: • onClick • onChange • onSubmit Instead of writing inline logic, it’s better to pass a function as a handler. This keeps the code clean and maintainable. 👉 One small but important detail: always pass the function reference, not the function call. This approach helps React efficiently manage user interactions and update the UI accordingly. #reactjs #javascript #frontenddeveloper #webdevelopment #codinginterview #learnreact #30daysofcode #programming #reactinterview #react #coding

Stop over-complicating form states in React! 🚀 React 19 is officially changing the game with 'Actions'. Gone are the days of manually managing isLoading, isError, and data states using multiple useState hooks for every single form submission. The new useActionState hook (formerly useFormState) handles the heavy lifting for you: ✅ Automatic pending state transitions. ✅ Built-in error handling. ✅ Seamless integration with native HTML forms. ✅ Zero boilerplate for 'isPending' logic. If you're still using useEffect to sync form status or manually toggling booleans in try/catch blocks, it's time to upgrade your workflow. This is a massive win for Developer Experience (DX) and UI consistency. Are you moving to React 19 Actions or sticking with React Hook Form? Let's discuss in the comments! 👇 #ReactJS #WebDevelopment #Frontend #JavaScript #TypeScript #React19 #SoftwareEngineering #Programming #WebDev #CodingLife #FullStack #ReactHooks #TechTrends #SoftwareDevelopment #WebDesign #UIUX #CleanCode

JavaScript vs. TypeScript: The 'Cocomelon' Edition! Ever feel like your JavaScript code is a bit... chaotic? Like a toddler running around with no shoes? That’s where TypeScript comes in! Think of JavaScript as the fun, flexible playground where you can build anything quickly. It’s dynamic, it’s fast, but sometimes things get messy. TypeScript is like adding a 'Safety Helmet' and 'Rules' to that playground. It’s a superset of JavaScript that adds Static Typing. Why make the switch? Catch Bugs Early: Find errors while you type, not when the app crashes. Better Tooling: Enjoy super-powered autocompletion in VS Code. Scalability: It makes large projects much easier for teams to manage. Is your team Team JS or Team TS? Let's discuss below! #JavaScript #TypeScript #WebDevelopment #CodingLife #SoftwareEngineering #TechSimplified #Frontend #Programming

🚀 JavaScript Event Loop: Your Async Superpower! 🌀 Confused how JS juggles multiple tasks on one single thread? 😵 Let's break it down visually! 1. Call Stack 📚: Runs your code line-by-line (sync stuff first!). 2. Web APIs 🌐: Handles async like setTimeout or fetch outside the stack. 3. Queues: • Microtask Queue ⚡ (Promises – VIP priority! Executes ASAP) • Callback Queue ⏳ (setTimeout – waits its turn) 4. Event Loop 🔄: Magic conductor! Checks empty stack → Microtasks → Callbacks. Pro Tip: Master this for smoother React hooks, Node servers, or any async magic! 💥 What’s your biggest Event Loop "aha" moment? Drop it below! 👇 #JavaScript #EventLoop #WebDev #ReactJS #NodeJS #Frontend #AsyncJS #CodingTips #Programming #DevCommunity #SoftwareEngineering #LearnToCode

I noticed most Node.js logging solutions are either too heavy or too minimal. So I built my own — logpaint 🎨 A lightweight, zero-dependency colored logger with built-in levels and TypeScript support. Instead of adding another heavy logging library, I wanted something: • Minimal • Zero config • Typed • Colorful output • Runtime level switching 💻 Website - https://lnkd.in/gp3HgeBX 🔴 NPM - https://lnkd.in/gNuSPXd4 ♐ GitHub - https://lnkd.in/gVXkyu-P Would love feedback from fellow developers 🙌 What feature should I add next? #opensource #nodejs #typescript #javascript #buildinpublic #developers #webdev #programming
