The only thing that matters is: Your business! -Revenue, topline, bottomline, PMF, NPS, Churn etc etc. Only this should give you anxiety or dopamine. I’ve been deep in market research for my fractional client, talking with Customer Success and Account Management leaders to understand what’s really happening on the ground. This morning I spoke with two CSMs at Upland Software, who attended the Flip the QBR webinar. What they shared reminded me of how important these conversations are. Here’s what I learned: 1️⃣ Great content can spark real change. They ran an internal “Read-back” session after the webinar with their team and board member. Using it to redesigned their QBRs to be more collaborative, forward-looking, and tailored to exec personas. 2️⃣ CS teams are hungry for learning, but time and budget control are the blockers. 3️⃣ They value peer-driven, applied learning over long certifications: “Less textbook, more toolbox.” As a fractional CX & GTM strategist, my job is to listen for the signal, the patterns that shape positioning, pricing, and messaging decisions.
