Remember the Invisibility Cloak? 🫥 Last week's post hit 15,000+ impressions, around 10,000 people reached. I said the next step was a desktop app and an APK. Here is the update. https://lnkd.in/dYen2wvS Desktop app? Done. One file, download, open, run. No Python, no terminal, no setup. Just the cloak doing its thing. Web app? Also done. Try it here: https://lnkd.in/dWhZDFaB Open it, allow camera, that is it. APK is still in progress but it is coming. The core is still the same Python, OpenCV, NumPy. Code kept clean and documented for future use and applications because this concept goes way beyond a fun demo. Going from a script that only runs on one machine to something anyone can just open and try, that is the part that feels good. We are getting there. #Python #OpenCV #ComputerVision #NumPy #InvisibilityCloak #Tech #Coding #PythonProjects #OpenSource
Medisee will also support vein detection using augmented reality so doctors can locate veins easily even when they are not visible. A training mode is coming to help medical students and professionals practice in a more realistic and interactive way. This is just the beginning more powerful features are on the way. MEDICAL STUDENTS Nurse.org Healthcare Professionals Group AR Developers AI Community Africa It is on the way. Link to the web app and how to install the app coming soon
Building on the invisibility cloak in this post I am working on Medisee where doctors can see through their hands during medical procedures to avoid obstruction. It uses real time computer vision and augmented reality to give a clearer view and improve precision during operations. Still in progress but this is where this idea is going and it is getting really exciting.
Please what is this about? I find it intriguing but I don't have an understanding on it
The application or AI vision obscures the object in front. It has a lot of use cases and I hope you can continue with the development.
Sweet! Does it also work with motion occurring behind it?
"This concept goes way beyond a fun demo." That line got me. Most people would stop at the demo. You're already thinking about what's underneath. That's the difference between a developer and a builder. What's next for this? 🌀
Fascinating
Great
Isn't this similar to green screen ?
I just searched for it on Start, and it pulled right up .
