Frontend Developers: More Than Just Design

Frontend developers often have a reputation of being “less technical” than backend developers. People say things like, “You just make buttons and colors?” “Frontend is only about design, right?” But the truth is very different. Frontend is not just about making things look good. It’s about performance, state management, API handling, security, accessibility, responsiveness, and creating a smooth user experience. A great product is not only built from the backend— users feel the frontend first. Frontend developers are not just designers. We are engineers solving real problems every day. 🚀 #FrontendDeveloper #WebDevelopment #ReactJS #JavaScript #SoftwareEngineering

Completely agree with this. Frontend is often underestimated, but it actually requires deep technical thinking. From handling complex state and optimizing performance to ensuring accessibility and seamless user experience. At the end of the day, users interact with what we build on the frontend, so it plays a huge role in a product’s success. Proud to be part of this space.

Perfectly said If the frontend is not friendly u won’t even bother giving backend chance

I think a good frontend is just as hard as a good backend — both have their own challenges and skills to grow in.

Exactly. A great backend is only as good as the frontend's ability to deliver it. Handling things like accessibility and cross-browser compatibility is a massive engineering feat. Proud to work with engineers of our team Exprovia who solve these real-world problems daily

I don't think people refer to frontend specifically to be less technical, rather UI/UX to be less technical. Which I agree with as well.

Without frontend will there will be no value of backend.

Totally agree 👍🏻 In fact where IA makes most of its mistakes is in the frontend.
