🚀 Day 10 – Writing Reusable React Hooks Custom hooks improve code reuse. Here are some strategies that consistently work in production 👇 ⚡ 1. Extract Shared Logic Move repetitive logic into hooks. ⚡ 2. Keep Hooks Focused Each hook should solve one problem. ⚡ 3. Follow Naming Convention Always start with "use". ⚡ 4. Avoid Side Effects Without Cleanup Always clean effects. ⚡ 5. Make Hooks Composable Combine hooks when needed. #React #programming #webdevelopment #reactjs #coding #dailyUpdate #Developer 💻

JavaScript async patterns 🔸 Callbacks → Simple, but can lead to “callback hell” 🔸 Promises → Chainable, better error handling → Great for parallel tasks (Promise.all) 🔸 async/await → Clean, readable, modern standard → Best for complex logic https://lnkd.in/gYrj4ixK #javascript #webdevelopment #frontend #backend #programming #softwareengineering

Most beginners ignore this hook… until they actually need it. useRef in React is like a hidden pocket in your component. It lets you store values that don’t trigger re-renders and gives you direct access to DOM elements. For example: You can focus an input instantly without updating state or re-rendering the component. Think of it like this: useState → updates UI useRef → stores values quietly in the background That’s why it’s perfect for things like: • Managing focus • Tracking previous values • Working with DOM directly Simple concept, but once you understand it your React code becomes cleaner and more efficient. #React #JavaScript #WebDevelopment #Frontend #Coding #100DaysOfCode #Developers #Programming #ReactJS

🧠 JavaScript Closures (without overcomplicating it) Most developers use them… few actually understand them. A closure is when a function “remembers” the variables from where it was created, even after that scope is gone. Simple idea: You create a function inside another one The inner function still has access to the outer variables Even after the outer function has finished executing 👉 Sounds simple, but this unlocks powerful patterns. Now here’s the real insight: If you use React, you rely on this EVERY SINGLE DAY. Hooks like useState and useEffect are built on top of closures. That’s how React “remembers” state between renders Without using classes So in practice: 👉 Understanding closures = understanding React at a deeper level #javascript #reactjs #frontend #webdevelopment #programming
