Ever notice a weird flicker in your React app before the styles snap into place? That flash is often a sign that your component has rendered before your DOM-dependent logic has run. You can fix it with useLayoutEffect hook, the powerful (but a bit tricky) sibling of useEffect. It runs synchronously before the browser paints, giving you a chance to make final adjustments.
