Feedback is a gift, but it isn’t always easy to give or receive. How do you build a feedback loop that improves your work rather than derailing it? #FeedbackLoop #InstructionalDesign

🟡 week 2: The Struggle (Feedback Hits Hard) Writing Feedback is not always easy to hear. When my business idea was questioned, my first instinct was to defend it. But the more feedback I received, the clearer it became: 👉 My idea wasn’t wrong… it was incomplete. 📌 I had assumptions without validation 📌 I missed practical challenges 📌 I overlooked customer perspective It felt like my idea was breaking apart. But in reality— 💡 Feedback was reshaping it into something stronger. Sometimes, transformation begins with discomfort. #FeedbackJourney #GrowthMindset #EntrepreneurLife #LearningProcess #RealityCheck #BusinessThinking

When feedback fails, it's not just a messaging problem. It's a mattering problem. People want to know that you care about them, not just the issue. The best feedback shows others they matter. Here's a simple way to show them: https://lnkd.in/epwP7sHA #HotTakeTuesday #feedback #difficultconversations

Is deep work only about screens and code? I have learned a lot from books. Clarity and transparency at work matter. Deep work isn’t just about screens and code—it’s about focus, thinking, and the zeal to learn. Sometimes, the best ideas come from silence, books, documentation, nature, and the people around you. 🌿📖 In a fast-moving world, we often lose focus, patience, and clarity. Slowing down and taking breaks can help you move forward with better clarity and accuracy. Growth isn’t just about speed— it’s about clarity, consistency, and balance. How do you find your clarity? #DeepWork #Focus #Productivity #Mindset #Growth #Learning #SelfImprovement

🚀 Overwhelmed by a big task? Don’t overthink it. Prototype fast. Pick the smallest slice you can test in five minutes and take action. Every attempt teaches your brain something new. Success comes from building evidence that you can. This flips procrastination on its head. The story changes from “I procrastinate” vs. “I’m a procrastinator” to learning, experimenting, and moving forward. 💬 What’s one tiny step you could take today to get unstuck? #BeatProcrastination #RapidPrototyping #GrowthMindset #ActionOverIdeas #PersonalDevelopment #MindsetShift #SelfImprovement #ProductivityHacks #TakeAction #LevelUpYourLife

“What You Measure Is Not What Happens” Vol 13 Everyone asks for feedback. More ratings → better product More comments → better content More reactions → better performance But feedback is not learning. Feedback gives you: opinions signals surface reactions Learning requires: reflection pattern recognition integration change 👉 You can collect feedback all day and still not improve. Most systems optimize input. Very few enable transformation. That’s the gap. This is part of a 30-post series breaking down the difference between what platforms measure and what actually drives human behavior. Because: Input is not insight. Output is not growth. Next: Engagement ≠ Value #CulturalPerformance #LearningDesign #UserBehavior #DigitalStrategy #Feedback #Growth #MarketingReality

Ray, I love how you are constantly emphasizing and carrying the flag for "Radical Transparency." From my perspective, this principle is unfortunately lacking and undervalued in most companies and eco-systems. Thanks for repeatedly pounding that drum, taking the lead, and putting Radical Transparency on the radar of other leaders. I hope it's the start of a movement that is long overdue!
Radical open-mindedness and radical transparency are invaluable for rapid learning and effective change. Learning is the product of a continuous real-time feedback loop in which we make decisions, see their outcomes, and improve our understanding of reality as a result. Being radically open-minded enhances the efficiency of those feedback loops, because it makes what you are doing, and why, so clear to yourself and others that there can’t be any misunderstandings. The more open-minded you are, the less likely you are to deceive yourself— and the more likely it is that others will give you honest feedback. If they are “believable” people (and it’s very important to know who is “believable”), you will learn a lot from them. #principleoftheday

📊 Effort without feedback creates blind spots. Without tracking what works and what doesn’t, progress becomes difficult to measure. Clear feedback sharpens decisions and improves results over time. Patterns become visible, and adjustments become more effective. Early access is currently organized through the waitlist. 👉 https://lnkd.in/dvManFA6 #Feedback #GrowthMindset #Clarity #SelfLeadership #Improvement #IntentionalAction

Day 10 of running structured deep work sessions. Here’s what I’m seeing clearly: Consistency is the real problem, not capability. Some participants are showing up 7–8 times in 10 days. Others are stuck at 2–4. Same group. Same time. Same system. Different results. The difference? Not motivation. Not intelligence. Just consistency. This experiment is proving one thing: When you create the right environment + accountability, behavior starts changing. Still building this system step by step. #deepwork #productivity #consistency #selfdiscipline #focus #habitbuilding #studentlife #startupjourney

Feedback is a funny thing, isn't it? I recently had a conversation with a client that really opened my eyes. They shared some thoughts on my services, and at first, I was a bit taken aback. But after reflecting on their feedback, I realised they were right. It’s all too easy to get wrapped up in what you think is best, but true improvement comes from listening to those you’re trying to help. So, I took their suggestions on board and made a few tweaks. The results? A much more tailored service for my clients, and that’s what it’s all about. When we listen, we learn. And when we learn, we grow together. Have you ever had feedback that shaped your approach? #ClientFeedback #FinancialAdvice #ContinuousImprovement
