I teach Python twice a week and do mentoring on the side. After seeing hundreds of students, there’s one thing I’d tell myself if I were starting again: Slow down. Don’t jump steps.
Don’t try to master 10 frameworks in a month. Here’s what actually works: → Build something. Anything.
→ Then improve it.
→ Then play with it. Because “done” is never really done in software. Everything can be refactored. That’s not a problem. That’s the whole point. The students who grow fastest aren’t the ones who consume the most content. They’re the ones who build, break, fix, and repeat.

🚀 Day 7 — 100 Days of Code Challenge I am glad to share my learning progress on Day 7 of the #100DaysOfCode challenge. Today’s focus was on understanding some of the most important programming concepts in Python, including functions, indentation, and while loops, which play a crucial role in writing structured, reusable, and efficient code. 🔹 Objective: The primary objective was to learn how to organize code using functions, maintain proper indentation for program structure, and implement while loops to execute tasks repeatedly based on conditions. 🔹 Implementation Details: • Learned how to define and call functions to improve code reusability and organization • Practiced indentation rules in Python to ensure proper program execution and readability • Implemented while loops to perform repeated operations until specific conditions were met • Applied logical thinking to control program flow efficiently 🔹 Key Learnings: ✅ Importance of functions in modular programming ✅ Role of indentation in Python syntax and structure ✅ Practical use of while loops for condition-based execution ✅ Improved logical reasoning and problem-solving skills ✅ Writing clean, maintainable, and structured code 🔹 Additional Learning Experience: I also explored an interesting problem-solving game available on the Reeborg’s World website, which provides interactive challenges to practice programming logic in a fun and engaging way. It is a great platform for beginners to strengthen their understanding of loops, functions, and logical thinking. 🔧 Build projects — that’s how you learn. Yes. But no one tells you what really happens. One of our Python full-stack developer students experienced it firsthand. After completing a Python training program, he decided to build his first real solo project: a scraper that collects real estate listings and sends personalized alerts. The result? The project collapsed four times before it finally worked. Week 1 → The website started blocking him. He had no idea why. Week 1 → He managed to bypass it, but the data was poorly structured. His parser broke. Week 1 → He realized he had planned nothing to store the data. Week 2 → He had to learn how to automate execution. From scratch. Two weeks later: it finally worked. And here’s what he understood — something no one had told him before: “The real pedagogy is the bug. Not the lecture. Not the tutorial. It’s the moment when everything breaks and you don’t know why.” At Eurazcom Institute of Technology, developers are trained to face the unknown. Because in the real world of development, projects don’t break once. They break constantly. Day 4 – The Development of Essential Skills 🚀 | The Creation of Better Python Programs The day focused on improving my existing skills which I possess. My basic skills needed development instead of starting fresh in learning new studies which I found to be effective. I completed the following tasks today. ✅ My Calculator Project Now Has Better Functionality The if / elif structure underwent complete transformation to achieve superior reading comprehension. The system now contains complete procedures for handling division-by-zero errors. The output now uses f-strings which provide both enhanced clarity and professional-grade presentation. The process of writing code presents one challenge while creating clean structured secure code demands higher skills. The function of a program needs development through two areas which I studied and two areas which I studied and two areas which I studied. I studied how my program flows through its three main components which include decision points loop operations and system organization. 💡 Day 4 Teaching Point The purpose of study is not to acquire additional knowledge. The purpose of study is to fully comprehend existing knowledge. The study of clean logic should be prioritized over understanding complex programming. The study of clear solutions should be prioritized over understanding fast solutions. The study of consistent results should be prioritized over understanding strong performance. In my 3rd semester, I challenged myself to build something bigger than assignments and coding exercises. So I built a complete Library Management System (LMS) from scratch using only core Data Structures in Python. No frameworks. No databases. No shortcuts. Just raw DSA. At that time, we were studying Binary Search Trees and Linked Lists. Instead of just solving textbook problems, I wanted to see what happens when these structures power a real system. Here’s how I designed it: 🔹 Books → Binary Search Tree (BST) Each book was stored using its ID as the key. This allowed efficient search, insertion, and deletion in O(log n) average time. I implemented: Insertion Deletion (including inorder successor logic) Search Quantity updates Issue & return operations 🔹 Admin Accounts → Singly Linked List Admins were stored dynamically in a linked list. I implemented: Account creation with duplicate prevention Password verification Hint-based password recovery Account deletion with position tracking 🔹 Students → Ordered Linked Structure Each student record contained: ID Name Two book slots Issue dates Return deadlines Fine calculation logic The system also: ✔ Applied 15-day return deadlines ✔ Automatically calculated fines ✔ Controlled maximum book allotment ✔ Maintained dynamic memory without using built-in collections What I learned from this project: Data structure choice directly impacts performance. Edge cases take more effort than the main logic. Deletion in a BST is not as simple as it looks in textbooks. Building a system teaches more than solving isolated problems. Debugging pointer logic in linked lists strengthens fundamentals. Looking back, I would now improve it using: Hash maps for O(1) lookups A self-balancing tree (AVL/Red-Black) instead of a plain BST Better separation between logic and UI But the most important outcome wasn’t the code. It was understanding how data structures connect to real-world systems. If you’re learning DSA right now, try building something complete instead of just solving practice questions. 💼 Day 13 – My Python Learning Journey Learning How to Approach Code Coding is not just about writing syntax — it’s about structured problem solving. Before jumping into the professional developers follow a clear thinking process: 1️⃣ Understand the problem – Identify the input, output, and constraints. 2️⃣ Explain the logic in plain English – If you can explain it clearly, you can code it clearly. 3️⃣ Break the problem into smaller steps – Complex problems become easier when divided. 4️⃣ Test with sample inputs – Validate your thinking before coding. 5️⃣ Write clean and structured code – Focus on readability and correct logic. 6️⃣ Review and improve – Test different scenarios and refine the solution. Great developers don’t just write code — they design solutions. Think → Plan → Break → Code → Improve.
