Built a Canary Deployment in Kubernetes! Key Points: Gradual Rollout: Only a small portion of traffic sees the new version initially. Monitoring: Metrics, logs, and user feedback are observed for errors or performance issues. Rollback Capability: If problems are detected, the update can be rolled back without affecting the majority of users. Safe Testing in Production: Real users test the new version without risking a full-scale failure. #DevOps #Kubernetes #CI_CD #LearningJourney

Your code passed. ✅ Your tests passed. ✅ Your deployment succeeded. ✅ So… why did production fail? 💥 👉 Configuration drift. It doesn’t show up in code reviews. It doesn’t fail your tests. But it will break production. ✨ KloudStage Configuration Comparison 🔍 Instantly spot environment differences 📊 Compare configs across DEV, TEST, PROD ⚡ Eliminate silent failures before release 👉 Sign up for a free trial at: www.kloudstage.com 👉 Check out the user guide: https://lnkd.in/gNdqCYw4 #Technology #DevOps #CloudComputing #IT #Tech #DigitalTransformation #EnchantApps

Fewer conflicts, faster feedback, and more frequent integrations? 🚀 Trunk Based Development is an approach that simplifies working with code and speeds up delivery - especially for teams building microservices. The key? Solid automated tests and efficient CI/CD. See if it’s the right fit for your team 👇 https://lnkd.in/df_YxYtP #trunkbaseddevelopment #microservices #devops #jlabs

Independent deployment is a boundary decision with real operational impact. When services are deployed independently, coordination drops and change stays localized driving faster delivery, smaller blast radius, safer rollbacks, and leaner CI/CD. Complexity doesn’t disappear it shifts to well-defined boundaries, where it’s easier to manage. 🔗 Live demo: https://justgood.win/dk #Microservices #DistributedSystems #CICD #SoftwareArchitecture #DevOps

Systems rarely fail at their strongest point. They fail at the edges. Integrations, dependencies, and assumptions about external behavior. That’s where things are least controlled. #softwareengineering #systemsdesign #devops

Dev works. Staging works. Prod breaks. Environment drift strikes again. 🔄 Kustomize base + overlays. Same config. Different values. Stop copy-pasting YAML. Read more by clicking below https://lnkd.in/ddyuzBDM #Kubernetes #Kustomize #Helm #DevOps #GitOps

Zero downtime deployments aren't magic. They're Blue-Green. → Two identical envs: Blue (live) & Green (new) → Deploy to Green, test silently → Flip traffic — done in seconds → Rollback? Flip back. Your users never feel a thing. Your team sleeps well at night. 🟢 #BlueGreenDeployment #ZeroDowntime #DevOps #CI_CD #Kubernetes #CloudEngineering #DeploymentStrategy

Your CI went down last week. A platform team I talked to lost three deploys to it. Not because the deploys broke. Because nothing could run tests. Every commit, every PR, every release gate was wired through CI. When CI dropped, validation dropped with it. This is what people miss when they say "CI is our test runner." Your test infrastructure is only as reliable as the system you bolted it onto. If your testing strategy goes dark every time GitHub Actions degrades or Jenkins agents flake, that's not a CI problem. That's an architecture problem. Tests should run on the same infrastructure your apps run on. If your apps live in Kubernetes, tests should run in Kubernetes. If your apps survive a CI outage, tests should too. If your apps scale to 1,000 pods, tests should match. One team I work with pulled their tests out of CI entirely. Tests now run in the cluster alongside the workload. Result: ~100 engineering hours per week reclaimed. CI outages stopped being a release event. The lesson isn't "switch CI providers." It's "stop coupling testing to CI in the first place." Worth a conversation if your last release was held up by something you don't actually own. #Kubernetes #DevOps #PlatformEngineering #SRE #Testkube

If you can’t see what your system is doing, you can’t support it. Lack of observability is one of the most common issues in production systems. By the time something breaks, there’s no clear way to understand why. Visibility matters more than perfection. #softwareengineering #observability #devops

Environment promotion is where most GitOps workflows start to break down. Too many scripts. Too many handoffs. Not enough visibility. 🧩 Kargo Custom Steps bring promotion logic directly into the workflow. Define, reuse, and govern every step. All containerized. All traceable. All in one system. 👀 Link in comments. 👇 #GitOps #Kargo #PlatformEngineering #DevOps #CloudNative
