If you’re getting started with AWS, keep it simple. This is the easiest roadmap I’ve found (and it’s free). A lot of people overcomplicate cloud fundamentals. You don’t need to understand every AWS service on Day 1. Start here: 🔗 AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials (Free) It gave me a clear understanding of: IAM basics (permissions without the headache) Compute options like EC2, Lambda, and containers AWS storage systems (S3, EBS, Glacier) Cost management (so nothing spirals unexpectedly) Core cloud architecture principles Whether you're working with developers, managing technical projects, or simply exploring cloud capability, this is the quickest way to get the essentials right. If you’re at the start of your cloud journey, this is worth your time. It builds a foundation everything else sits on. P.S. Want a beginner-friendly AWS roadmap? 📌 Cost awareness early matters. One of the easiest ways to avoid surprises in AWS is understanding pricing and monitoring costs from day one. Free-tier experiments are perfect for this.
this is exactly what beginners need Too many people try to learn every service at once and get overwhelmed. Starting with the essentials makes everything click faster. Syed Khurram Ali
Starting with Cloud Practitioner Essentials is often the cleanest entry point into AWS. It gives just enough structure to build confidence without drowning beginners in services they will not touch for months. A strong foundation makes every future concept easier to absorb.
Great advice. Starting simple with AWS makes the whole journey much easier 🙂
I always tell people, learn the basics first, the rest will come on the job. This is a very good way to get that going Syed. Thanks for sharing.
Cloud mastery starts with simplicity. The AWS Practitioner Essentials strip away overwhelm and build the foundation every future skill depends on because clarity at the start accelerates confidence later
Starting with the fundamentals is the smartest way to avoid overwhelm.
Solid reminder that AWS isn’t about memorizing services but understanding how they connect.
📌 Hands-on beats theory. As you go through the Cloud Practitioner Essentials, try creating a small S3 bucket, launch an EC2 instance, or deploy a Lambda. Learning by doing cements concepts faster than reading alone.
