One of the most common mistakes beginners make in coding: They assume understanding = ability. At first glance, problems look simple. But the moment they try solving, the gap becomes clear. Because coding is not about consuming knowledge. It’s about applying it. When beginners start solving directly, it feels easy — until they actually try. The shift happens when learners move from: watching → practicing knowing → solving Even 2 questions a day can change everything. #learning #coding #students #careerdevelopment

Most students assume they are “not good at coding.” In reality, they are practicing in the wrong way. Watching tutorials creates a false sense of progress. Real skill develops only through problem-solving. Coding is not about understanding concepts — it’s about building patterns through consistent practice. Even solving 2 questions daily can create a significant shift over time. This is where most learners go wrong. #learning #coding #students #careerdevelopment #JL

HOW TALKING NOTES CHANGED THE WAY I CODE One habit that genuinely changed how I learn from coding tutorials is jotting down key points as I watch. Not full sentences. Just quick bullets, a method name, a shortcut, important definitions, e.t.c. Because let's be honest, watching a tutorial feels productive, you follow along, everything makes sense in the moment and then two days later it's gone. 😂 Writing things down forces me to actually process what I'm seeing instead of just passively watching and flipping back through those notes later is way faster than scrubbing through a 45-minute video to find a solution. It's a small habit, but it has made a big difference in how much I actually retain. Do you take notes while learning, or do you prefer to just code along and hope to remember in the future? #relatablepost #coding

Stop watching tutorials. Start building projects. You don’t learn coding by consuming. You learn by struggling. Build → Break → Fix → Repeat. #coding #webdevelopment #learning

Mistakes I Am Avoiding as a Coding Beginner ❌💻 As I am learning coding, I realized that avoiding mistakes is as important as learning new concepts. Here are some mistakes I am trying to avoid: ❌ Jumping to advanced topics without basics ❌ Copy-pasting code without understanding ❌ Ignoring problem-solving practice ❌ Inconsistency in learning 👉 What I am doing instead: ✔ Focusing on fundamentals ✔ Writing code daily ✔ Understanding logic deeply ✔ Staying consistent Learning coding is a journey, not a race 🚀 #CodingJourney #Programming #Learning #Consistency #Developers #FutureEngineer #100DaysOfCode

Some mistakes I made when I started coding: • Focusing too much on theory, not enough on practice • Jumping between too many technologies • Ignoring basics like problem-solving • Comparing myself with others If you’re starting out — avoid these. Focus on consistency, not perfection. #coding #developers #learning #beginners #careeradvice

The wrong approach makes learning harder than it should be. Most beginners don’t fail because coding is hard… They fail because they follow the wrong path. Fix these mistakes early and you’ll grow 10x faster 🚀 Which one did you make? 👇 #BeginnerDevelopers #CodingMistakes #LearnToCodeBetter #DevGrowthTips #ProgrammingJourney #CodeSmart #DebuggingSkills #DeveloperMindset

Most students don’t fail in coding because it’s hard. They fail because they follow the wrong approach. Every day, I see students: → Watching tutorial after tutorial → Taking notes like it’s a theory subject → Waiting to “feel ready” before building And after months… They still can’t build a simple project on their own. Not because they’re not smart. But because they were never taught the right way. Here’s the truth: Coding is not something you “learn first” and “apply later”. You learn coding by building. You get stuck → you search → you fix → you understand. That’s how real learning happens. At CodingNovas Academy, we focus on: → Building real projects → Learning by doing → Making students job-ready, not just course-complete If you’re stuck in the “learning loop”, it’s time to break it. Start building. 💬 Comment “START” and I’ll share a simple roadmap to begin properly. #Coding #LearnToCode #Programming #WebDevelopment #StudentLife #CareerGrowth #CodingJourney #Developers https://lnkd.in/gaHdSgNz

If you’re learning coding, do this: • Pick one language • Practice daily • Build small projects • Revise basics Not this: • Switching languages every week • Watching endless tutorials • Waiting for motivation • Comparing with others I’ve done both. Only one works. Keep it simple. Stay consistent 🚀 #LinkedIn #CodingJourney #StudentLife #LearnToCode #Consistency

Day 30 of 100 days. After teaching and learning for a while… One thing is very clear: The biggest challenge isn’t coding - It’s consistency. 👉 What I now live by (and teach): * Show up daily * Do something small * Stay committed Consistency will take you further than talent. #FrontendDevelopment #100DaysOfSolvingCodingProblems #WebDevelopment #CodingTips #LearningTips #SoftwareEngineering
