Started with a spreadsheet full of my own options trades from ThinkorSwim. Ended with a live dashboard that actually tells me something. Here’s what happened in between → Exported my real trade history → cleaned it in Excel → built a PostgreSQL database → wrote SQL queries to find patterns → visualized everything in Tableau. What the data showed me: • COIN was my best trade. HIMS was my worst. • September was my only profitable month. • I traded INTC 7 times, and it was one of my biggest losers. That’s concentration risk in plain sight. The difference between a trader and a data analyst is that the analyst can prove what happened and why.
