Until the codebase gets huge and there is no one that understands it, and the AI keeps breaking things. The quality decreases and they start losing money, because customer satisfaction decreases… there will be still humans to come back and fix the mess… AI as a tool is amazing, but not a replacement. At least for now
Doesn't that makes him gAI ?
Funny but there's a real conversation here about tech debt vs the AI hype cycle. AI is a fantastic force multiplier, but you still need the '5-year' context to ensure what's being built is actually scalable and fits the long-term vision. It's about finding that sweet spot between speed and stability
To all the company founders and managers out there: AI is much like money in the sense of it being a tool. It makes you more of what you are. If you’re experienced and curious, it will enhance that in codebase and day to day performance. If you’re careless and disoriented? It will enhance that in everything that’s done. It’s worth thinking 2ce before comparing Intelligence to AI because a shiny plastic fantasy piece can look great, but only real diamonds cease to crack under pressure
Yes. Had a great conversation today that educated me about everything we’ve been through 🤓🥰
This is so true. It depressing in many ways. This is going come back and bite us all :/
This will not end well
