Think .NET MAUI Shell is only for jumping between screens? You are missing its most powerful features. Passing simple strings is easy, but professional apps need to move complex objects and states without messy code. In my latest video, I show you how to master data flow in Shell in under 15 minutes. So much love for 🐚! Shane Neuville What do you think we can still improve Héctor?
One of my objectives was to learn .net Maui to develop hybrid applications, I work with mobile apps since 2006, we have developed windows ce, palm os, iOS with objective c and swift, and android with Java and kotlin. Recently we switched to flutter because it can create good applications without the effort to have 2 teams developing the same thing. Our backend stack was .net since 1.0, so the .net Maui was a dream to maintain the same stack across all the platforms. But now we are switching back to native development. With AI I think all these technologies will die in some moment. Because we are so fast to develop now in the native languages that we don’t need anymore to deal with the complexity of hybrid platforms. It is better to develop in the native and get all the new frameworks. It is a new world
