🚀 DSA in Java – Day 84 Today’s problem was all about matrix rotation and pattern matching 🧠💡 🔍 Problem: Determine whether a given matrix can be rotated (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) to match a target matrix. 💡 Key Learning: Matrix rotation is a pattern-based transformation problem Instead of manually checking all possibilities, we can: ✔ Rotate the matrix step by step ✔ Compare after each rotation Clean logic + iteration = efficient solution 🛠 Approach: Rotate matrix 4 times (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) After each rotation, check if it matches the target If match found → return true, else false 📈 What I improved today: Matrix manipulation skills Thinking in rotations & transformations Writing clean and reusable functions 🔥 Consistency is the key! Today I implemented Array Reversal in Java using the Two-Pointer Technique! 🔄 Logic: ∙ Set left = 0 and right = arr.length - 1 ∙ Swap elements at both ends ∙ Move pointers inward until they meet ✅ Input: {1, 2, 3, 4, 5} ✅ Output: 5 4 3 2 1 💡 Why Two-Pointer? Instead of using extra space, we swap in-place — making it O(n) time and O(1) space! No extra array needed. Just two pointers doing the work. 💪 Every small concept I practice brings me one step closer to DSA mastery. Keep building. Approach: Used two auxiliary arrays to mark rows and columns that contain zeroes. In a second pass, updated the matrix by setting elements to zero based on the marked rows and columns. Approach: Used Binary Search by comparing the middle element with its neighbors. Based on the increasing or decreasing slope, moved towards the side where a peak must exist, reducing the search space efficiently. 🚀 DSA in Java – Day 88 ✅ Today’s problem was all about finding the minimum distance between three equal elements in an array — and it really tested my ability to optimize brute force logic 💡 🔍 Approach I used: • Applied 3 nested loops to check all possible triplets • Optimized by skipping unnecessary comparisons using continue • Used break to stop early once a valid third element is found • Focused on minimizing (k - i) instead of full formula 💡 Key Insight: Instead of directly calculating the full distance, I realized that: 👉 Distance = 2 × (k - i) So minimizing (k - i) automatically gives the minimum distance 🚀 📈 What I learned today: • Even brute force can be improved with small optimizations • Early stopping (break) can reduce unnecessary iterations • Observing patterns in formulas helps simplify problems Some days are about solving fast, and some days are about thinking smarter — today was both 💯 Let’s keep growing consistently 💪 #DSAinJava #LeetCode #ProblemSolving #Java #CodingJourney #Consistency #100DaysOfCode

Approach: Used two pointers to traverse both strings. Moved the pointer in s only when characters matched, and always moved the pointer in t, ensuring order is maintained.
