What does it mean when TypeScript overtakes Python, AI “vibe coding” becomes the norm, and more than one new developer joins GitHub every second? Andrea and Kedasha sit down with data whisperer Jeff Luszcz—one of the minds behind the Octoverse 2025 Report—to translate the data into real-world takeaways for your career and open source projects. https://lnkd.in/gDsyv7EP

Insightful discussion! At WebAziz, we’re already seeing how TypeScript and AI tools are redefining developer workflows smarter, faster, and more collaborative than ever. #Octoverse2025 #Innovation

Fascinating insights! 🚀 The rise of TypeScript and AI-driven "vibe coding" shows how fast our development culture is evolving. Can’t wait to see how these trends reshape open source collaboration and developer workflows in the coming years.

The #TypeScript overtaking Python line resonates. I use it everyday for Playwright automation at scale, and the type safety makes a huge difference. Great podcast!

Fascinating to hear Jeff Luszcz translate Octoverse 2025’s key trends, TypeScript overtaking Python, AI “vibe coding,” and new GitHub devs every second into real-world takeaways for careers and open source.

My favorite statistics from the report is that ~240 new repositories are created every minute and a developer is joining GitHub every second! The sheer amount of new code and new talent that the world is creating every moment blows my mind. Someone decides they CAN be a programmer or release open source and makes it happen.
