A strong start to our week at #NYFTW 2026. Last night, we hosted From Charter Approval to Operation, a conversation about what actually happens after conditional approval. The theme that kept surfacing: the stretch from approval to opening day is as much a relationship challenge as an operational one. Regulators aren't just checking boxes. They're forming a view of your institution's judgment, culture, and self-awareness, and that view starts forming long before the pre-opening exam. Thank you to Jasper Sneff Nanni (FS Vector), Joseph J. Chambers (State of Connecticut, Department of Banking ), and Max Bonici (Davis Wright Tremaine LLP) for a candid and specific discussion. The room was full of founders, practitioners, and advisors, and it showed in the questions. More to come this week. Stay tuned.
Thanks for including me in this great conversation!
