Day 22 of 100 Days. Student: _“I understand when I watch tutorials… but forget when I try to code.”_ Welcome to tutorial hell. The fix? Stop watching. Start doing. 3 rules I give now: 1. Pause & type – Every 10 mins, pause the video and code it yourself. 2. Build blind – Close the tutorial. Rebuild the feature from memory. 3. Struggle on purpose – If it’s not uncomfortable, you’re not learning. Watching tutorials = reading about pushups. Coding = actually doing pushups. One builds muscle. The other builds guilt. Active learning wins. Are you learning actively? #FrontendDevelopment #100DaysOfSolvingCodingProblems #WebDevelopment #CodingTips #LearningTips #ActiveLearning

Day 21 of 100 days. I once gave a simple assignment… Some students overcomplicated it. Way too many lines of code. The challenge: Overcomplicating solutions 👉 What I now teach: • Keep it simple • Solve the problem first • Optimize later Simple code is powerful. And if you're learning through tutorials - don’t try to impress, try to understand. #FrontendDevelopment #100DaysOfSolvingCodingProblems #WebDevelopment #CodingTips #LearningTips

If you feel lost in coding… Start here. Not with 10 courses. Not with advanced topics. Start with basics: • Variables • Loops • Functions Then: → Practice daily → Build small projects → Repeat That’s how real learning happens. I used to overcomplicate everything. Now I’m keeping it simple. Simple works 🚀 #LinkedIn #CodingJourney #LearnToCode #StudentLife #Consistency

Most people think becoming a developer is just about learning code It’s not just writing code but learning how to think through problems step by step During the kickoff, one of the first things we noticed was this: Instead of just copying code, participants were already asking, ‘why does this work?’ Inside the bootcamp, they are learning: • programming fundamentals explained in a way they can actually apply • how to break problems into smaller steps • how to turn small ideas into working applications • how to test and improve their code And most importantly: • the confidence to stop waiting and start building real projects Skill comes from understanding what you’re doing, and actually doing it Confidence doesn’t come first - it grows when you start using what you’ve learned. Let's hear from you, where are you currently? 1 = Learning the skill 2 = Trying to build confidence 3 = Working on both #GEANCOCommunityCenter #DigitalSkills #CodingBootcamp #TechCareerGrowth #StudentsInTech

The hardest part of learning to code isn't the syntax. It's the moment you get stuck at 11pm with no one to ask. That's the problem with most online learning. You're on your own. You watch, you pause, you rewatch, you give up. At Codeworks, learning happens live, which means when you're stuck, someone's actually there. An instructor who can walk you through it. Classmates who've hit the same wall. A cohort that moves together, gets frustrated together, and figures it out together. Because the fastest way to learn code isn't watching someone else do it. It's building, breaking things, asking questions in real time, and solving problems as a team. That's what we mean when we say live learning. Not a Zoom lecture. Not a pre-recorded module. An actual room, online, yes, but real, where progress happens because people show up for each other. If you've tried learning to code and felt like you were falling behind alone, this is what was missing. Learn it live. Learn it properly. 🔗 Book a Call with Admissions: https://lnkd.in/eXMySYfT #LearnToCode #Codeworks #LiveLearning #CodingBootcamp #FutureInTech #LearnOnline #WebDevelopment #TechCareer #OnlineBootcamp #DevelopingFreedom
