From closed-minded to vibecoding: how it changed my tech journey

I used to be pretty closed-minded about the whole "vibe coding" thing. But now, as a tech founder, I think it's one of the best things that's ever happened to me! Keep vibe coding and shipping as fast as you can. Focus on the core problem rather than just getting the syntax right. Let the tools handle the stupid stuff. Focus on the real issues. Understand human challenges and solve meaningful problems. #ai #vibecoding #coding #programming #softwareengineering

Absolutely! Real innovation happens when you code with intuition, purpose, and empathy, not just precision.

I think the criticism was somewhat justified in the early days. But, with the exponential nature of how LLMs and LMMs improve, it was only a matter of time before the signal to noise ratio reduced to a VERY workable environment. Say what you will. I believe vibe coding is here to stay and really only in its infancy. Never underestimate human creativity in combination with the power of frontier model AI.

As long as vibe coding includes actually understanding the code generated, I'm a fan. (I still wish we were using separate terms for people who are just generating code versus doing so and reviewing it.) I do appreciate no longer spending an hour troubleshooting a missing curly brace
