🚨 𝗞𝘂𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗢𝗳𝗳 / 𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹 - 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 As a DevOps Engineer, one of the most frequent deployment failures I see is this 👇 👉 Pods stuck in 𝑬𝒓𝒓𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒍 or 𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆𝑷𝒖𝒍𝒍𝑩𝒂𝒄𝒌𝑶𝒇𝒇 But what’s really happening behind the scenes? 💡 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: Kubernetes (via Kubelet) is unable to pull the container image from the registry. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: -> ❌ Incorrect image name or tag -> ❌ Image doesn’t exist in the registry -> 🔐 Authentication issues (missing/wrong imagePullSecrets) -> 🌐 Network connectivity issues from node to registry -> ⏱️ Rate limiting (especially with Docker Hub) 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿: -> First, Kubernetes throws 𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹 -> After multiple retries, it shifts to 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗢𝗳𝗳 - meaning it’s slowing down (backing off) further attempts. 𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗧𝗶𝗽 (𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲): Always start debugging with: 𝑘𝑢𝑏𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑙 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑐𝑟𝑖𝑏𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑑 <𝑝𝑜𝑑-𝑛𝑎𝑚𝑒> It gives you the exact root cause in most cases. 💬 In DevOps, small misconfigurations can stop entire deployments. The key is not just knowing the error - but understanding why it happens. #DevOps #Kubernetes #Docker

Kubernetes teaches you one important life lesson: Never trust a cluster that is “working fine” 😅 One minute everything is healthy... Next minute: - Pod Crash - CrashLoopBackOff - OOMKilled - ImagePullBackOff - Node Not Ready And suddenly your peaceful day becomes a debugging marathon. DevOps reality: 90% troubleshooting, 10% pretending not to panic 😂 #Kubernetes #DevOps #K8s #CloudComputing

🚀 If you're new to DevOps pipelines, here's the simplest way to understand how these 3 tools work together: 🔧 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 1 — 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬 (𝐂𝐈) Jenkins watches your Git repo. The moment you push code, it: → Pulls the latest changes → Runs unit tests & security scans → Triggers the next stage automatically No manual clicks. No missed builds. 🐳 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 2 — 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 (𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝) Jenkins calls Docker to: → Build a container image from your Dockerfile → Tag it with a version (e.g. app:v1.0.3) → Push it to a container registry (AWS ECR, DockerHub) Your app is now portable. Runs the same everywhere. ⎈ 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 3 — 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐦 (𝐂𝐃) Helm takes that image and deploys it to Kubernetes: → Uses templated charts (no copy-pasting YAML!) → Tracks release versions → Rollback in one command if something breaks Together they form a complete pipeline: 𝑪𝒐𝒅𝒆 → 𝑻𝒆𝒔𝒕 → 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 → 𝑷𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒂𝒈𝒆 → 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒚 This is the foundation of every modern DevOps workflow — whether you're at a startup or a bank. #Jenkins #Docker #Helm #Kubernetes #CICD #DevOps #CloudNative #DevSecOps #PipelineAutomation #SoftwareEngineering

A lot of CI/CD pipelines still push deployments to Kubernetes. But GitOps flips the model. Instead of your pipeline talking to the cluster, the cluster pulls from Git and keeps itself in sync. That’s exactly what this FluxCD workflow shows 👇 🔹 You push code → CI builds → image goes to registry 🔹 Flux detects changes (Git + registry) 🔹 It updates manifests and reconciles the cluster automatically No direct access from CI to production. No kubectl in pipelines. Why this matters: • Git becomes the single source of truth • Every deployment is auditable and reversible • Drift is automatically corrected • Your cluster is always aligned with what’s declared This “pull-based” model is what makes GitOps powerful and honestly, safer by design. If your pipeline is still doing direct deploys to the cluster, this is a pattern worth rethinking. #GitOps #FluxCD #Kubernetes #DevOps #PlatformEngineering

🚀 Day 12 of 14 days Docker Journey | Logs & Debugging 🔥 Today I focused on one of the most critical DevOps skills — debugging containers using Docker logs 💪 🧠 💡 What I Learned 👉 How to view container logs using docker logs 👉 Real-time monitoring with -f (follow logs) 👉 Filtering logs using --tail and timestamps 👉 Where Docker actually stores logs internally 🛠️ What I Practiced ✔ Debugged containers using logs ✔ Used docker ps -a to identify failed containers ✔ Inspected containers using docker inspect ✔ Entered containers using docker exec for deeper debugging ✔ Used docker-compose logs for multi-container apps 💥 Real Debugging Approach 👉 When something breaks: Check container status Check logs Inspect configuration Debug inside container ⚡ Key Takeaway 👉 “Don’t guess — read the logs. They tell you exactly what’s wrong.” 💬 Open to feedback and discussions! #Docker #DevOps #Debugging #Containers #LearningInPublic #BuildInPublic #TechJourney

🚀 My DevOps Journey: From Manual Deployments to CI/CD Automation! The Problem: The "Manual Update" Loop 😫 While building my portfolio, I realized that manually uploading files every time I made a change was a bottleneck. In the world of DevOps, if a task is repetitive, it must be automated! The Challenge: Setting up my first GitHub Actions workflow wasn't a walk in the park. I faced: ❌ Action not found errors due to naming mismatches. ❌ Permissions hurdles between the Runner and GitHub Pages. ❌ Deprecation warnings regarding Node.js runtimes. The Solution: Understanding the Pipeline Logic 💡 I didn't just "fix" the code; I mastered the flow: 1️⃣ Checkout: Syncing the repository into the Cloud Runner. 2️⃣ Configure: Authenticating the machine for GitHub Pages. 3️⃣ Artifacts: Bundling static files into a secure, deployable package. 4️⃣ Deploy: Turning a simple git push into a live, global URL! The Result: ✅ My portfolio is now 100% automated. One commit, and the world sees the update. This is the power of a solid CI/CD pipeline! Next stop: Advanced Docker and Kubernetes orchestration. 🚀 #DevOps #GitHubActions #Automation #CloudComputing #CICD #SoftwareEngineering #LearningJourney #Bharatops #ZevixDigital #CloudEngineer #TechCommunity

🚀 From code commit to production in minutes — this is how modern CI/CD works. When I first started automating deployments, teams were spending hours on manual releases. One mistake could take down production. Today, with a well-designed pipeline, that entire process is automated, tested, and reliable. Here's the exact CI/CD workflow I build and maintain for production systems: 🔹 Code Push → Developer pushes to GitLab/GitHub. Webhook triggers the pipeline instantly. 🔹 Build → Application compiles. Dependencies resolved. Artifacts created. 🔹 Test → Automated unit + integration tests run. Any failure stops the pipeline — no broken code moves forward. 🔹 Dockerize → App is packaged into a container image and pushed to registry. 🔹 Deploy → Kubernetes rolls out the new version. Zero downtime. Rollback is one command away. 🔹 Monitor → CloudWatch + alerts watch every metric. If something breaks, we know before users do. This pipeline reduced our deployment time by ~70% and eliminated manual errors entirely. The best DevOps isn't about the tools — it's about building confidence that every release will just work. 💪 What does your CI/CD pipeline look like?
