TypeScript with Node.js & Express: Learning Backend Development

Learning in Public — TypeScript with Node.js & Express Chai Aur Code Recently, I started learning how to build backend applications using TypeScript with Node.js and Express. In this phase, I explored how TypeScript improves backend development by adding type safety, better structure, and a smoother developer experience. Here are some of the things I learned: • Setting up a Node.js + Express server with TypeScript • Creating and organizing routes in Express • Understanding Request and Response types • Structuring backend projects for better scalability • Catching bugs early with TypeScript type checking • Writing cleaner and more maintainable backend code It’s exciting to see how combining TypeScript with Express makes backend development more predictable and easier to scale. I am deeply appreciative of the invaluable guidance provided by the amazing mentors Hitesh Choudhary Piyush Garg and TAs throughout the learning process. Looking forward to building more projects with this stack. #TypeScript #NodeJS #ExpressJS #BackendDevelopment #LearnInPublic #WebDevelopment
