AI doesn’t run on ideas. It runs on layers. Layers that carry load, dissipate heat, and sustain performance when demand stops being theoretical. The unseen is not optional. It’s the system. Anyone else getting really bored now with the binary posts on here regarding AI and Datacentres? Either really good or really bad. Where did the middle ground disappear to..? Maybe it requires personal experience/opinions and critical thinking? 🙄 #ai #datacentre #datacenter #criticalthinkning

We've moved from an era defined by who can secure the most power to one defined by who can actually deploy it. In his latest article, Mark Swift breaks down why deployability – not just power availability – is becoming the defining constraint in AI data centers. This article from Mark Swift (VP Engineering at Starline) is a short read but worth the time. Those of us in the Data Center world have run into all of the points that he makes in it. We are in a data center world far different than many of us grew up in. Go ahead, take 3 or 4 minutes and give it a read.

Speed to deployment is quickly becoming the #1 factor our customers are considering when deploying data centers today. This principle is not only a challenge but requires you to build a network of partners that can build off-site in parallel with the structure going up (OSM). Personally , I think this is the long term trend for all construction moving forward it just makes sense.

We are 4 months away from the August deadline for the EU AI Act. If your team is still trying to trace data flows manually an audit this August could be very expensive. Fines now reach up to 7% of global annual turnover. Cloudera Data Lineage automates this paperwork by mapping your data journey across the cloud and on-prem instantly. It de-risks your roadmap so you can focus on the #AI and not the audit. Is your August plan ready or are you still building the map? #EUAIAct #compliance #cloudera #datalineage #automation Maria Pisman Jack Flanagan
