Apple is hiring across many different teams. If you are looking, I encourage you to apply. Details are in the comments. #softwareengineering #hardwareengineering #leadership
Hey Demitri Swan looks like the link does not work. Is this opening still available ? I have 7+ yrs experience and recently actively looking for a new job. Please let me know if you would like to chat with me ! 😊
Hi Demitri Swan, I hope we can connect. Thank you for sharing!
I’ve been an Apple Advocate since childhood when my parents brought home a Performa. I always tinkered with OS 6-9 and could fix just about anything. When Mac OS X beta was announced I paid for it early and setup myself as the expert to call for people upgrading systems. I did repairs and maintenance throughout the aughts and grew business on the iPod halo effect with families and businesses moving to Apple. Helping people migrate to the best OS. I was an Apple Consultant Network member and Certified Mac OS X & Server support. In early 2012 I shut it all down to move away from my hometown to the Austin area. Never really thought I’d to work at Apple in California. However the Austin campus grew. I’ve been in UX and Software Engineering for the past 15+ years now and have applied and applied to so many Apple direct FTE jobs on Apple internal jobs board. Nary a call, no response, silence. Would be great to have someone, anyone, reach out and chat. Just for the opportunity to connect.
Hi Demitri, I saw your post about Apple hiring and wanted to reach out. I’m an Infrastructure Technician and Developer currently working at the Intel site in Phoenix. I’m a troubleshooter at heart; I excel at executing precision cable pulls, identifying the best pathways to get links running, and ensuring everything is perfectly labeled and secured. I focus on getting things "First-Time-Right" to avoid project delays. Beyond the physical work, I’ve built four professional tools to solve the exact bottlenecks I see in the field: Manhole Mapper PRO for standardized vault mapping, a Smart Inventory Manager for tracking high-value site materials, a Daily Reports Master to simplify construction reporting, and a Cisco config generator for networking applications if there is a roll fore me message me
I’m a retired Apple Genius (12 years behind the bench, 40 years total Apple/Macintosh hardware/software/customer support experience). Been trying to get back into the orchard for a couple of years and can’t even get an interview. Does Apple no longer value age and experience anymore?
Hi Demitri, I am Aryan Sindhu and I am currently pursuing my MSCS from University of Southern California and I recently applied for the Software Engineering Internship at Apple and was also referred for the role. I’m really excited about the opportunity as it strongly aligns with my experience and interests. I’d love to connect and discuss it further, and would truly appreciate being considered for the next steps. Thank you!
NB: Apple doesn't allow remote work so...you'll have to move to a very HCOL area.
It’s very sad that there are very few software engineering positions (non AIML or CV related) in Zurich.
