How Python automates my reporting process

Lately, I’ve been focusing more on reducing repetitive manual work in my reporting process — and Python has helped me streamline a lot of it. Earlier, preparing some of these reports meant cleaning raw files, updating mappings, refreshing pivots, and adjusting templates whenever new products appeared. It wasn’t difficult, but it took time and had to be repeated again and again. So I moved the process to Python. Now tasks like data cleaning, file merging, updating product details, and preparing the final Excel output run automatically. My role is simply to review the final file (QC) and it’s good to go. The automation uses a combination of: pandas, numpy, openpyxl, xlwings, selenium, pyautogui The biggest benefit? More consistency, fewer repetitive steps, and more time available for actual analysis instead of preparation. Small automations like these make a big difference in daily workflow — and I’m enjoying exploring this side of analytics more and more. #Python #Automation #DataAnalytics #ExcelAutomation #Pandas #Productivity #ContinuousLearning
