I think the biggest red flag when I think about it is that like if I look at an organization that talks about AI governance, and I think many of us may have been part of those type of conversations as well, is when it's almost entirely at the policy level, but the organization can't demonstrate how the policy shows up technically and in real environments. So you know that they probably got AI governance committee and that they have all these standards, but it's not actually implemented. And if you ask where AI is being used in the organization. What models are running, what data they touch, how outputs are validated? Then they answers. A lot of times that you get is very vague or incomplete and that tells me that the organization is already behind.
